Gryparis' Club Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

We have been there as a group of 25 and it was fantastic! George, our host was very friendly and helpful. He was able to organise transport for us from the airport and then again at the end of the trip to the port. While we were there, the ferry was on strike and George helped us stay updated on what was going on and organised a place to stay when we had to stay a day longer. ||The studios were very nice. They were clean and spacious. Everyday a cleaning lady came over to clean up. She even washed our dishes. The bathrooms were clean and towels were provided. Be aware that you cannot leave any food out in the open because ants are able to enter. Also the cats might bite.||Gryparis Club is conveniently placed on a hill with great view outside of the city within a 20 min walking distance. Be aware that there are no sidewalks and there is a lot of traffic. You can also take the bus from the city. The bus stop is 3 min away from the entrance. Also there is a small shop which is open 24/7 and that has all the necessities cheaply.||In conclusion we would highly recommend a stay at the Gryparis’ Club. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with George at Gryparis Club Apartments. Room well appointed with small kitchenette containing 2 cooking hotplates, fridge , plates, cutlery etc. Suitable for self catering of light meals. Quiet accommodation but close to buses into Fabrika or out to the beaches. 15 minute walk downhill into town for restaurants and shopping, slower walk uphill or bus available every 15 minutes. Bus stop just around the corner. George was available to collect us from the ferry port on arrival and also transported us to the airport on our departure. Full of local knowledge it was a delight to meet him and talk about his family and life on the island. Although we didn't have a car, off street parking was available. We arrived by ferry and George was there to pick us up. He told us about the facilities close by. The bus stop is two minutes away in front of the Vrisi grocery store. The old town is a ten minute walk away but we always took the bus. ||The apartment is in a typical house of Mykonos. It is small but had all the amenities needed. The shower area could have been better but the shower itself was good. There were twin beds and the beds were made every day. The apartment was also cleaned every day. We made the booking through Expedia. ||The place is noisy but once we put on the AC there was no noise filtering through.
