All I can say is this hotel is a true reflection of what a 5 stars hotel should be. From landing to getting complementary shuttled in a high end van/bus branded the Myconian Resorts to arriving to the beautiful gated resort combined between 3 different Myconian hotels. Immediately as we got off we were greeted by a lovely receptionist Aphrodite and walked us up to the lobby and brought us to the poolside covered seating where she grabbed our passports and payment and handled everything at the check in desk while we were soaking in the beautiful views and atmosphere!
After check in was done she walked me to my room and had another colleague walk my friend to his. To my surprise even though she didn’t mention it I was upgraded from a basic base room to one of their sunset balcony view junior suites with a jacuzzi tub and a separate balcony! The view was stunning and I couldn’t believe how well they took care of a titanium member. Watching the sunset every day was definitely a treat. They also surprised me with two seperate welcome gifts. One bottle of local desert wine and than later in the evening a box of truffles and champagne.
Now let’s talk about the service! The breakfast area and pool area are both pristine! But the best part are truly the wonderful people that work there! From breakfast to pool side service everyone was amazing. Standouts were definitely Nadia and Vicki at the pool that got us poolside drinks and snacks everyday with a smile. By the 3rd day they even remember my room number and drink order! Last day we were there they even got us a special shot to send us off and comped a bottle of their large glass bottle mineral water. So sweet!
Breakfast selection was amazing and the servers were all just as amazing and professional. We got seated at the exact same table 4 out of the 5 days with amazing views of downtown Mykonos and the Aegean Sea! We even saw a celeb there at the resort!
I would definitely come back to this hotel without a doubt! Another cool thing is you’re allowed to use the other pools at the other hotels in the same resort so I would highly recommend checking it out and the spa was very nice as well! I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. Everyone just treats you like family and remembers you and always says hello with a smile on their face! Do yourself a favor and book your next Mykonos trip at the...
Read moreWe stayed at the Myconian Kyma for five nights in June 2025. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink. Unfortunately, my glass was visibly cracked and quite dirty, with noticeable lip marks and remnants of orange pulp from a previous serving. It was an unpleasant first impression, though the staff promptly offered to replace the drink.
Our accommodation was in Room 83, accessed via two short flights of stairs. The suite was exceptionally spacious, featuring a separate living area with a sofa and a small balcony overlooking the smaller of the hotel’s two pools. The central bathroom included a walk-in shower next to the bed, a separate toilet, and a large open wardrobe with hanging space and shelving. At the far end of the suite was the bedroom, which opened onto another balcony with views of the main pool and the distant Aegean Sea.
A bottle of Prosecco, two glasses, and a handwritten welcome note awaited us in the room. Initially, the space felt quite dark, as all shutters and curtains were closed to preserve the air conditioning. However, once opened, natural light flooded in, revealing a bright and inviting interior. The towels were replaced once if not twice a day.
Breakfast at this property was a standout feature. It may have been the best value we’ve experienced at any hotel. Starting each morning with a view of the Aegean Sea and the picturesque architecture was truly memorable. Arriving early often meant securing a table right by the window. The staff were exceptionally attentive, offering fresh-squeezed orange juice along with coffee or espresso drinks. In addition to the buffet, guests could order à la carte items from the breakfast menu. The generous portions typically kept us full until dinner.
The hotel is located just up the hill from Mykonos Town and Little Venice. The walk into town takes about 10 minutes from the hotel gate. While the route follows a main road—sometimes requiring single-file walking—it was manageable and convenient.
The property shares its entrance with two sister hotels. After a brief tour of all three, we found that Kyma was our favourite by far, thanks to its elevated views and...
Read moreI travel a lot worldwide the past 40 years. I'm a permanent Marriott Titanium Elite. This is advertised as a premium property. We upgraded to a large room with ocean view and workspace for our computers. The service is terrible, worst I've encountered for a Marriott property advertised at this caliber. There is a bunch of kids staffing all the public facing jobs including reception and "concierge". They are not engaging and seem defensive and withdrawn. The customer facing employees at this Marriott seem angry and hostile to customers. It reminds me of the 70's in Hawaii when the locals were overtly hostile to tourists. We planned 2 days in Mykonos with the one day touring the main town and the other at Delos. The winds were very bad both days resulting in cancellation of our Delos trip. The "concierge" thus recommended an island tour. We paid $120 for a 2 hr "tour" for a car and driver. The guy spoke about 10 words the entire 2 hrs and had very little English skill. It was a total ripoff. I could understand if this was some large group tour at a discount but we specifically hired an English speaking private tour guide at premium rates. The hotel nickel-dimes you for everything. At my status, there is always at least "free" coffee in the room. This place charges 2 euros for every coffee capsule. There is no "free" coffee. The town is only about 1 mile from the hotel. You must walk a very narrow 2 lane room with no sidewalks. Cars and large buses pass generally inches from you. The hotel offers no shuttle to town. You’re thus on your own to run the gauntlet into town. All in all this place is a joke and a rip-off. The property is nice with a great view. The terrible service negates the viability of staying here. Marriott...
