Ba’os Restaurant Prologue: Though well travelled it only provides insights to comparisons as I am magnetically attracted to the Relais et Chateau appellation. Always a novice as I assess an avant-garde breeding ground of palate appreciation, tonight it is Ba’os casino opportunity to be a prisoner of my rigor. Commentary: The simplicity of the décor with a sea greeting is easily outwitted by the staff of Ino and her sister Elena that greets you and serves you as if you were intimate guests. The director of the ingestive symphony is Giannis who is omnipresent in the narrative. But in final analysis I select haphazardly lamb and Wagyu beef before they become extinct from the gastronomy glossary. Before applying descriptive accolades, I have tasted the delicacies of Alain Ducasse at the Athenea Plaza or the subtleties of Christian Constant but Panayiotis Tsoukatos deserves trois macarons for the transformation of Wagyu beef and Lamb into the divinity of presentation and even better of substance. I cannot believe anyone of this planet can enhance this magical texture. Homages to the deity Panayiotis. The Greek wine from Santorini neglects no aspect to pair. Summary: My virginity of Mykonos has blessed me with cherubically hailing to near perfection of Korali’s Ba’os personality. If Mykonos has connotations of grandeur it is readily deserved.

Where to begin... Took my fiance here for a surprise dinner to celebrate her birthday. Upon walking in, absolutely blown away by the decor and view from the restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we felt like absolute VIPs, easily the best service I have ever received in my life, and I have eaten all over the world. Yes this place is premium priced, but honestly I would have paid more for what we received. each dish was an absolute journey, we decided on ordering individual dishes rather than the tasting menu due to my partners growing palate. Each and every dish was breath taking in the way they were presented, and the flavours were even better.

The food overall was literally life changing, even something simple sounding like the "beef and lamb" dish was mind blowing, not to mention the portion sizes were perfect - no chance you will be leaving hungry.

The service was also incredible, ignore the several low rated reviews as there was absolutely nothing pretentious about this place, even though it deserves to be. I felt as if each of the staff were friends of mine.

Please make sure you go here when In Mykonos, don't waste your money on trivial night clubs and cocktails.
