Mykonos Cactus — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Mykonos Cactus. The staff was exceptionally friendly. They really went above and beyond for us. During our arrival, our ferry boat was delayed by over 1 hour due to weather conditions. But, not to worry, the driver waited to make sure we were picked up. He showed us several places of interest during our shuttle ride.

We stayed in the executive suite. Our room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable. The suite has 2 bathrooms, which was a real time saver. My wife and I could get ready for dinner at the same time. The suite also had an expansive outdoor balcony, with a stunning panoramic view of Ornos beach to the Right, and Paralia Korfos Beach to the Left. The balcony had a hot tub. The water temperature was hot, and the therapeutic Jets were very relaxing during our stay.

The pool was a great place to overcome jet lag. Pool chairs were very nice, and easy to come by.

From the hotel, it's about 1 block of walking to the bus stop, and about 2 blocks to Ornos beach. There are several nice restaurants, and a grocery store in Ornos. You can buy bus tickets on the bus. Busses run every hour to the main bus hub in the Myknonos Town. It's very easy to get around and visit the other beaches on the rest of the island.

I recommend Mykonos Cactus. I would definitely stay...

What an amazing hotel! From start to finish, everything went smoothly and I was so impressed with all the staff.

After checking in, I was taken to my room and shown all the features of the hotel and bar. Rooms are simple and comfortable and the AC works very well! Bed and pillows were comfy and shower had good water pressure.

Breakfast was great, service at the bar was exceptional. Nasia (who is complimented often in these reviews!) is amazing and one of the friendliest people I've met in Greece. She makes killer cocktails and you have to try her famous Greek Salad.

Note that this hotel is in Ornos, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city center in Mykonos. But it's very easy to get to the city center by walking to the bus stop (careful, no sidewalks!) and taking the bus to "Fabrika." As of this posting, it cost 1.80 Euros.

There is a free airport transfer if you land/leave during normal hours. And a (pricey) private transfer is available in you land/leave in the middle of the night. Paris set up my private transfer and is another amazing employee.

No regrets staying here and will definitely book again if I ever...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Mykonos Cactus in Ornos.||We have been visiting Mykonos as a family since 2007 and our last visit was 2015 so it was with trepidation that we returned as a couple without children!||The hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Ornos on a slight hill within an easy walk down to Ornos beach.||The location is a calm oasis away from the maddening crowd during the height of summer!||On first impressions the hotel is modern and clean. The gardens are beautifully maintained and decorated with ornate cacti on every corner with a wonderful aroma of rosemary and thyme throughout the pool area.||The manager greeted us with both a friendly and professional disposition as can be said for all the staff members especially the porter who was very helpful with restaurant recommendations.||Our room was perfect!
