The restaurant is located on a super nice beach and has very nice beach section. However, our experience was not the best as not keen on any business trying to trick their customers. It was our first experience in Mykonos when we realised that the business is lying to customers and is trying to trick them into paying more. When we booked sunbeds + lunch, price we were given for sunbeds was 50 Euros for 2, but when it came to us paying for those on the day, price somehow grew to 60 Euros. When we asked why they told us they changed their pricing day before, but didn't warn any customers with reservations. This is illegal practice, but they don't care, their answer was - we are sorry, but you have to pay 60 Euros. It is not a huge difference, but how it was handled gave a very unpleasant memory. We could even forget that the food we had there was not the best, we had both breakfast and lunch at the venue, everything was all cold - pancakes were cold, moussaka was cold. But the attitude and the fact that they try to trick customers was what made it really worse. The venue next to it (managed by a cousin of the owner of this one, if not mistaken) Aperanto Galazio has much better food and at least doesn't seem to trick you with the sunbeds (we were there day before and had really great...
Read moreThis restaurant was outstanding!! We managed to have 1 bottle of wine, 3 quality appetizers, 2 amazing entrees and one decadent desert to share for under 90 euros. We were a little unimpressed coming to Mykonos at first. It was October and tourist season was at it's end. We fell victim to the onslaught of ex used car salesmen posted at the restaurants in Mykonos town our first night, and had a very mediocre meal for a high price. I can remember my girlfriend and I saying simultaneously that this was the best food we had eaten in a long time. Everything on the menu sounds delicious which is unusual for me to say due to my distaste of mushrooms. A couple of their entrees contained them but I found myself about to order them anyways. You will not be dissapointed. From anywhere in the restaurant you will look over the beach. It's right there in your face and it's hard not to stare off into the blue waters as you are barely required to chew your tender food. Mykonos is littered with unfinished construction projects, crazy drivers and rubble. However when you round the curve to Ornos beach you will not see hardly any of this. It looks pristine. I hope you...
Read moreA very aesthetic place to dine by the beach. The waiters were mostly friendly and efficient. The reason for the less than perfect review is because one of our souvlaki mains was forgotten; and then when it came after reminding them, had no garnishing like the first dish did. We called a waiter over to ask him for oregano, and he brought it to us as a side to self serve. The tuna tartar was a pleasant flavour, but the fish itself was not as fresh as the tartar we had at Aperanto Galazio the afternoon before. When asking for beach beds after our meal we were told “all full” with a X hand gesture. It would have been nice if they offered us to drink at the bar and to come collect us when there was a vacancy like their neighbour did the day before. Then we wouldn’t have left to spend money on beds and drinks elsewhere. Food here was nothing to write home about, but their cocktails are nice and I would definitely...
