Elisso's Philoxenia — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Nothing to complain about really. Great studio. Spacy and very clean. The location is like 100m from ond of the best beaches on the island and close go the bus stop. The town is like 20min away (buy tickets in the markets, not possible on the buss).||The only minus was the kitchen. There wasn't any of the basic spices and the kitchen didn't have anything to wash the plates with. Maybe that's nothing to demand but it feels pretty basic and make the stay so much more comfortable. Also this was the first place on our trip where transfer from the port wasn't provided. But It's pretty far and there's no problem to take buds nr.17 from the station at the port.||Would really...

We loved our stay at Elissos Filoxenia, the studios are in a perfect location... like 50 meters from the beach and all the restaurants, supermarkets etc., but as it is turned inside the city, so sooo quiet, we loved that. The rooms are absolutely spotlessly clean, the amenities are basic, but really taken good care of and everything is arranged very thoughtfully... And the owners, Dina and her mom, they are just amazing... really friendly in a genuine way and always there to help you with anything, we felt like at home... This was our fourth time in Naxos and first in the Filoxenia, but next time we will definitely return, highly...

Molto in sintesi, la struttura è senza infamia e senza lode. Circa 100m nel paesino, vicino alla spiaggia e a bar - ristorantini (come molti, a Prokopios). Stanza (studio nr 2) francamente piccola, bagno (vedansi foto) piccolissimo. ||Ci viene richiesto di non buttare la carta igienica nel wc ma lasciarla in un cestino nel bagno, svuotato solo ogni 24, e pazienza. L'acqua a volte non arriva per qualche minuto, e pazienza ancora. No zanzariere alle finestre, immaginate le invasioni la notte. Ancora pazienza.||Vista sul parcheggio polveroso, ma vabbè, siamo qui per il mare e non per la stanza. Ancora pazienza. ||Ma poche ore prima della partenza una scenata indegna della proprietaria sig.ra Elizabeth, per due teli piccoli macchiati di sangue (uno per incidentino ordinario di rasatura, l'altro per uccisione di un insetto molesto la notte) più due grandi con un po' di ombre di polvere e/o residui di abbronzatura post doccia, mai vista in 38 anni! Con accusa fattaci di non sapere nemmeno come si lavano i capi in casa nostra (!!!!), e suggerimento di parlare con la referente del tour operator che parla italiano (evidentemente riteneva il nostro inglese non fluente a sufficienza, peccato io abbia il Proficiency). Inaudito e inammissibile da qualsiasi albergatore verso un cliente. Richiesti 25 euro per sostituire il set di 4 teli (dozzinali, li venderanno a kg dai grossisti per alberghi), versati per poter buttare noi i teli ed evitare che ci fosse di mezzo un giochetto per lavare poi quelli e comprarne altri.||Il tutto a un prezzo di 85 euro al giorno (fine luglio), più del doppio del prezzo di bassa stagione, che è quello che varrebbe la struttura se non ci fosse una villana incredibile come proprietaria.||Davvero, non rischiate di correre brutte avventure con questa persona. Ci sono tanti studios sempre a poche decine di metri dalla spiaggia e hotel bellissimi! Andate a Prokopios ma non...
