Naxos Leisure — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

Can everything just go perfectly? For us, it really did. This hotel was exactly what we needed. The airport transfer was smooth, and instead of us paying directly, one of the lovely daughters of the hotel owners quietly handed the driver a sealed envelope. A small but thoughtful detail.

When we arrived, they welcomed us with a drink and some sweet local cherries before even asking for ID or handing over any papers. It made the whole arrival feel relaxed and personal.

The hotel itself is very well arranged and modern. I travel a lot, mostly in Germany, and I often notice small flaws in hotel design (I’m a civil engineer), but here everything seemed really well thought out. Even little things, like the room key system, were set up to avoid mistakes. You can’t leave the room without your room key.

Our room looked just like the photos. There were mosquito nets on all the windows, and they even had an electronic device against them in the room for extra protection. Breakfast was included, and the crepes everyone talks about were genuinely good.

The family who runs the hotel is always friendly and helpful. They offered to clean our room daily and even made sure there was water in the coffee machine after the room cleaning. Who can think that? another small but meaningful touch. All these little gestures added up to a really positive experience.

Had a great time staying at Naxos Leisure, thanks to the wonderful care taken by the owners and their two daughters.

Stayed with my partner in a double room. Though it wasn't the most spacious, it was designed very well and we were both impressed with the layout and amenities available. Rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked a treat. We also had a sizeable balcony where we could watch the sun setting whilst having a nice cold beer.

We had a special breakfast menu made available to us each morning, to be served in the calming terrace at the back of their cafe downstairs. We loved the variety of options available and the freshly squeezed orange juice. They were also very accommodating at allowing us to do takeaway so we could have our breakfast on the beach if we felt like it.

The owners and their daughters were super helpful and friendly to us throughout our stay, whether it was giving us recommendations for nearby restaurants, helping us to arrange taxis or making sure we had everything we needed in our room.

The location of Naxos Leisure is one of the best in Agios Prokopios - a 2 minute walk to the beach with local supermarkets, cafes, tavernas and gift shops all around. Having said that, our room was quiet and we never experienced any late-night noise from outside.
