Evgenios Studios, Agios Georgios Pagon, Corfu Greece — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We stayed in Agios Georgios Pagon for 2 weeks, beginning Sept 2022. Our experience was perfect because of Dora. Dora is the host and supported with everything we needed : airport transfer (just ask her before you arrive to support), booking trips (she will give you ALL the information you need to be able to enjoy), recommendations on where to eat or drink (spot on every time) plus she is wonderful to just talk to. She always took the time to ask us how we were feeling, if everything was OK with the room, the trips or our stay in general and she was always smiling and had a good word for everyone.||The rooms are extremely clean and welcoming. We had a small balcony with a perfect sea view (including a table and 2 chairs), air conditioning (fully functional), a small stove, a medium fridge (bigger than hotel ones, smaller than a full size, but more than enough for any needs you might have), a very clean bathroom with a shower. You also have a mosquito net on the balcony door to keep those pesky gnats out, as well as glass doors and full size shutters to keep the heat of the day from heating up the room. There is also a common space in the courtyard where you can sit comfortably and several parking spaces if you come by car. I must also mention the cleanliness and the extremely helpful lady helping with room cleaning, as she always left us fresh towels with a little gift (she arranged them in shapes and left a little flower or something on top) - it just goes the extra mile to make you feel extremely welcome. She came in very often, so no need to worry about that.||All in all, we had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend enough the accommodation and especially the lovely Dora and everyone there. in the first days we couldn't make a shower because there was no water pressure or no water at all (also at the sink). The property owner said that the issue comes from the public utility company and suggested us to use a public shower (with cold water) with no private cabin. the bathroom was very small. It was very difficult to move inside and not to hit anything around; you could hear any noise from the other rooms very easily, even if the doors and windows were closed; very poor wi-fi signal; the air conditioning was smelling quite bad when we turned it on for the first time; also, in the last day, when we came back in the evening to our room we found that they turned off the air conditioning leaving the door balcony opened; the roads were very bad and narrow, it was very difficult to drive.

These are the only pros: Private parking; Close to the beach, but the beach is not sandy and the water was very cold in that area. That's why we went at Agios Stefanos Beach (15 minutes by car) - it had a fine sand and the...
