Sunny Apartments Review — Honest Thoughts from a Family Stay||We recently stayed at Sunny Apartments with my partner and our three teenage daughters. Overall, our experience was pleasant, though a few things stood out — both good and not so good.||Let me start with Leo at the bar — absolutely sensational. Friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile. He was the highlight of the entire stay and honestly deserves more recognition (and a raise!).||The cleanliness of the apartment was solid, and our room (212) had a lovely view over the pool. That said, it did get very noisy when events were happening. One night we had no bedding, and another night the music was so loud we had to message reception — still haven’t received a response. Speaking of reception, service was inconsistent. Sometimes there was no one there, and it felt a bit disheartening seeing other guests helped while we struggled with all our luggage.||The space itself could use a few upgrades — no comfy seating area to relax indoors, just a dining table. If you're planning to self-cater, it's a bit limited, especially if you're a family or group.||On the upside, the location is fantastic: a bus stop to Corfu Town is a short 5-minute walk, the beach is 10 minutes away, and you can get a pickup to Aqualand right outside, which was super convenient for our girls.||Just keep in mind — air conditioning, the room safe, and local tax are extra charges, so factor that into your budget.||In summary: the apartments have potential, and the stay was made better thanks to Leo’s energy and charm. If you’re considering booking, this review might help you set...

The Sunny Corfu is a short walk to the main strip passing some lovely restaurants along the way. (Fridas Family is highly recommended) But the Sunny Corfu also serves good food at reasonable prices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Greek omelette for breakfast was a favourite of mine and my daughter loves the fresh waffles. They host a BBQ night on Thursday which can be busy.
The apartments are nice and clean with Air conditioning in each room. A safe is available in one of the bedroom cupboards for your valuables. Daily cleaning of the toilet bin, replacing or topping up toilet paper, towels and bed sheets etc. The cleaners are lovely people as are all the staff there. They are building an extension at the back for another 6 or 8 apartments but no building noise can be heard.
The bar has a good selection of drinks with local Mythos on draft, spirits and cocktail menu. They have fans around the bar to keep you cool and there is a pool table@ €2 per game and a football table@ €1 per game.
(Tip for the Brits: They serve Strongbow cider by the can but it's expensive at €5 or €6 per can whereas you can buy the same can from the local supermarket for around €1.50 so that's maybe one to store in your fridge in your apartment to enjoy on your balcony if that's what you want to drink.)
We would definitely...
Read moreFantastic hotel off the main strip. Stay bed and breakfast and was placed in the new block "b" that was built around a year ago. The rooms are modern and extremely clean. Beds are comfortable and the ac is quiet (extra charge for ac) -we probably didn't need the ac as the rooms have fly screens but I get bitten badly so prefer ac and keeping patio doors shut.||Shower is powerful and room has a fridge that does stay on when the room is left (key stays in wall to turns lights on). Room has kettles but no tea/coffee making items so bring own. Iron and hairdryer available from reception if needed.||The pool and restaurant area very clean and sun loungers have comfort pads, its always easy to get a bed.||Leo and Johny in the bar are very welcoming and always on hand to help with something if reception person is not there. The midweek Wednesday night entertainment was really good.||Poolside breakfast and food is good but does take a while to come out.||Little supermarket less than a minute walk for essentials.||||The only negative which I would suggest an improvement on is when the cleaners have been they leave the patio door ajar for airflow and the room is then left unsecure. I would recomend that they install sliding door security bars to prevent being opened from outside so doors can be left open while while guests are out and when sleeping. The hotel and area itself appear very safe but you never know who your fellow guests are, if I was travelling as a solo guest this would be a deal breaker.||Came for a chilled few days relaxing and hotel was...
