We had the absolute best holiday here and we would return again in a heartbeat. We did visit this hotel just before their refurb so my review may be slightly outdated.|The rooms in this hotel would not comfortably suit a family of 4. We had 2 main hotel rooms with a sea view. One of our daughters shared a room with her Grandparents, and our other daughter shared a room with myself and my Husband. There was not enough room for 4 people to fit comfortably in one. If you have more than 3 people I would recommend booking 2 rooms. The rooms were basic at the time but if I'm being totally honest, we were barely in them as the hotel is beautiful and we wanted to make the most of it. The balconies are small and fit 2 people maximum on them. However, if you have a sea view room, the view is breathtakingly beautiful.|The hotel is stunning, it's very clean and well kept. You often see cleaners around the hotel and you can see it is well looked after. All the cleaners always said hello and were more than friendly.|When looking for holidays, one thing we had to consider were things to keep our eldest daughter entertained as she is neurodiverse and needs to constantly be doing something. The water slides provided her with hours of entertainment. The pool has 3 different pools which you can swim fully round all with different depths. She would spend hours in the pool and then once her mind needed to do something different, she would then be entertained going down the slides for hours. You never really have to queue for the slides as they move so fast. All the lifeguards had a wonderful sense of humour at the top of the slides.|We would go to the beach in the afternoon and spend some time in the sea. There are lots of little fish swimming around, so make sure you take some goggles with you to see them as they were so pretty. There is a pump by the slides to pump your inflatables up free of charge. |Sunbeds - a lot of people would get up at the crack of dawn to secure their beds. It's totally unnecessary. The day we arrived at the hotel we got there at 2AM. There was a man coming out of the lift to put his towels down. So yes, it happens, but we went to get our sunbeds at 9 am every morning when we went for breakfast, and we always managed to locate 4 bed sunbeds. We would have to grab them from different locations to put together, but there were plenty there.|The food was insanely good. They always had different themed food nights, so if you're staying for 2 weeks, there was always a great selection of different foods to try. I can honestly say this is the nicest food I have ever had in an all-inclusive hotel before. They do a separate table for the kids with more common foods such as spaghetti bolognaise, chips, etc, if you have fussy eaters. They do have allergen warnings on the food. However, if you are considering this hotel for allergies, I would say it's easy for cross contamination as guests use the same spoons to serve themselves different dishes. However, the kitchen staff may be able to dish some freshly made from the kitchen.||The entertainment team was poor. Daytime entertainment kept people engaged and they often had exercise around the pool in the day and they were fabulous with guests but the evening entertainment was very poor and the hotel do need to invest more money in to this area.|There is also an arcade area down by the beach. We didn't use this, but we would often see a lot of kids in there making the most of it.||There is a spa included in the hotel. Again, this is not a facility we used as we had young kids to be looking after, but it did look lovely in there.||There is a shop just across the road from the hotel that provides all your essentials. I would recommend this shop over the shop in the hotel. There isn't anything directly next to the hotel to visit other than the shop across the road but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you straight to the next town. We didn't do this as we only stayed a week but we would see a lot of people taking trips out. The lady in the shop in the hotel would follow guests round the shop and I saw her a few times getting grumpy with people. The lady in the shop across the road was much more welcoming and the prices were cheaper.|I would 100000% recommend this holiday for a family holiday, especially if you have a child who needs that little bit extra than just the pool. As I say, my review is slightly outdated as it has been refurbished since, but even pre refurb.. this was a wonderful holiday and we would...

Read moreWe had a brilliant time at the Louis Creta Princess Aquapark and Spa Hotel in Crete, Greece. We were given a 5* experience and we had a lovely holiday. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in total. We had a lovely room overlooking the whole hotel and pool, it wasn’t overly spacious but it had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and bed linen was nice. The interior of the room has a nice colour scheme, simple yet effective. The room could have done with a refurbished bathroom, the bathroom felt a bit dated in comparison to the rest of the room and was very small in size making it impossible for 2 people to be in the bathroom at the same time unless 1 was in the bath. The bathroom was always clean and tidy. There was a slight issue with the drain by the toilet where sometimes if you were having a bath or shower then the water would come up out of the drain onto the floor. The bathroom occasionally smelt but I think this was due to the drainage issue but this wasn’t too much of an issue as we didn’t spend much time in the room. The shower head wasn’t brilliant as it it was a struggle to adjust the position of it but it was manageable. The waterpark at Louis Creta Princess is for hotel residents only and consists of a pool with 5 slides. There was also a pool with jungle themed slides, a bigger pool, and a small pool for younger children with 2 small slides and water features. The main bigger pool was our favourite and the pools were always monitored by lifeguards and kept clean. The Aegeo Spa Centre was lovely and has recently been refurbished. The Aegeo Spa Centre was lovely and has recently been refurbished. The spa offers a variety of different services. I had the Cretan Massage: The Ultimate Journey which was 95 minutes long and included an antioxidant exfoliation with Cretan herbs. The massage was lovely and one of the best I have ever had. The spa decor was lovely and very relaxing and the staff were professional and welcoming. It’s a shame the spa is opposite the arcade machines. The hotel itself was lovely. You could tell some parts of the hotel had recently been renovated/refurbished and you could tell some parts needed a bit of love, attention and a lick of paint. The hotel was always clean and tidy and rhe reception area was very modern. The food was lovely and the decor of the restaurant was beautiful. Every night there was a different theme night for the food. The range of buffet food was amazing and there was a lot to offer. It was great to see the chefs cooking the food in front of you - I loved the open kitchen layout. The chefs were all friendly and welcoming and great at what they do. We would often sit in the quiet area of the Samaria restaurant (main restaurant) and it was lovely. It’s great that they do a kids buffet for the children at the hotel. The hotel offered a range of different acitivies you can take-part in throughout the day. You could do Mini-Golf, Table Tennis, Beach Volleyball, Darts, Football, Pool Aerobics, Archery, Water Polo and many more. The entertainment team were brilliant! During the pool hours the entertainment team ran a lot of activities and were all friendly and welcoming. The evening entertainment was brilliant, there was a mini-disco every evening at 20:30 for the children and then entertainment following this. The entertainment team were great and always put on a show, my least favourite entertainment out of the whole week was the Greek Night which wasn’t done by the entertainment team. We visited the Mura by Akakiko (Japanese restaurant) once during our time at Louis Creta Princess and it was lovely. I personally am not a massive fan of Japanese food but it was nice to experience the restaurant which it’s beautiful decor and table service. I was really impressed by the staff at Louis Creta Princess who were all friendly and welcoming. After our lovely stay at Louis Creta Princess we would definitely go back to the hotel, there are a few things as I had said that need to be improved and could be made better but overall we had...
