Great, traditional tavern in the centre of Maleme. There is a view of the main road ,there are only about 10 tables inside, but even during dinner time, they're mostly free. There are various food options, from traditional greek gyros to a classic burger with fries. The food quality was exceptional, the meat seasoned nicely with greek herbs and spices. Gyros mix plate: Pork, Lamb and chicken, all soft and very nice. Pita was soft, fries were nice, and we even got the traditional tzatziki. Lots of tomatoes and sliced onion. Cheeseburger plate: One slice of cheese, but a fine amount of sauce, great, soft meat texture, tomatoes, lettuce and caramelized onion. The bun was soft, but roasted as well.
