Mansio Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

We enjoyed our four night stay at Mansio in Rethymno. Located within the old town it was quiet and secluded. The bed and shower rooms were of a decent size and very clean. All the staff were friendly, helpful and most spoke excellent English. So, overall nothing to complain about.||||Except, to us, another guest from the UK did; he thought that the breakfast was poor. Unfortunately we have to concur. We have found, through many years of travelling, that you can judge the quality of an establishment by the orange juice served at breakfast. In the Mediterranean, where hundreds of thousands of tons of the things are grown annually, there is no excuse for not serving freshly squeezed juice. The Mansio’s offering was an undrinkable orange coloured chemical. If the Management can rectify this, and the meagre cold meat and cheese boards, then the Mansio would be a very good little...

My family and I visited mid-June 2024.The rooms were comfortable, modern, and clean. I really love the aesthetic of this boutique hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly when asked. Breakfast includes the traditional Greek breakfast fare and was more than adequate for our appetite. Our flight was delayed and we arrived past midnight. It is important to communicate with the hotel as reception leaves at a certain time. All rooms and most entrances have a keypad with a specific code. In addition, most of the hotels in Old Town Rethymno require carrying/rolling suitcases on the cobblestone streets so be prepared for that. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to those that are visiting/attending...

We recently stayed here during our trip to Crete and it was a delightful experience. The hotel is new and beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean, which made our stay all the more comfortable. The modern aesthetic and attention to detail really stood out.||||The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always available to help with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home and ensured that everything went smoothly throughout our stay.||||The location is perfect, you are right in Old Town, close to the water, shops, and all of the restaurants.
