Just got back from staying at this hotel for 10 nights. I’m totally baffled by some of the poor reviews as this hotel is amazing. Let me start from the beginning. We never originally booked for this hotel, but the hotel we booked wasn’t ready so we had to go to the lindos nest which had only opened the week before after a refurbishment. On arrival we were given a beautiful room with a whirlpool on balcony. The room was amazing. It had 2 bedrooms and everything you need was available. The only thing was there was no sea view which we had booked with original hotel. As it was 2am we waited until the next day to see the manager and explain that we would like a sea view. Unfortunately due to the hotel being full we had to wait 4 days. But eventually we got our sea view room with our own pool. Omg what a room with a view. It was the best room we had ever stayed in. The view was priceless. The beds were so comfortable, the mattress so thick. It had a power shower in the bathroom and the whole room was spotless. If you would like a kettle you just ask at reception and they give you a brand new one. Now for breakfast. There was everything you could want. Continental or hot. We had fresh omelette made on request most mornings, which were delicious. Plenty of options, you would never go hungry. The staff are so good and anything you needed they would get. The hotel is on top of a hill but don’t let that put you off. They have a courtesy bus to take you down to the beach and pick you back up again. Then in the evening it will take you into town for your night out. A taxi back is only 6 euros. Lastly I’d like to give a special mention to the staff. Stelios the manager was brilliant as were Flora and Ana on reception. Maria the housekeeper and the chamber maids always welcomed you with a smile and again couldn’t do enough for you. Now a special mention for Sam the assistant manager. What an absolute gentleman. Nothing was ever to much trouble for him. He always had a smile on his face and managed to solve any issues. He was even taking people down to town in his own car when the courtesy bus was stuck in traffic. He took us down to town also when we missed the courtesy bus and told us to text him when we were ready to be picked up. All I can say to finish is please don’t be put off by the bad reviews this hotel and the staff that run it are truly amazing. I was gutted when we had to leave but will definitely be booking this hotel again next year. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you all so much for making our holiday the best one yet xx

We had a lovely stay at The Lindos Nest Hotel in Pefkos overall. The hotel is modern, very clean, and has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Staff were excellent throughout – special thanks to Flora at reception and Manos at the pool bar, who were especially helpful and welcoming. We had a bit of a hiccup on arrival – we were given the wrong room (we’d booked one with a private pool) but this was sorted quickly the next morning by Flora in reception. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of hot and cold options, pastries, fresh fruit, cereals and drinks – though a second toaster would be useful. The view of Pefkos bay is stunning! We enjoyed the private pool, but the odd, deep overflow channel trapped inflatables and could use a design rethink. The hotel provides slippers but avoid these if your floor is wet as they have no grip! A few things did detract from the experience: Very poor soundproofing – noise from other guests and staff was often disruptive especially early in the morning. Smoking indoors by staff left corridors smelling of cigarettes. The manager smoked at the breakfast area, which wasn’t pleasant during meals. Some areas outside the hotel perimeter were scruffy and littered, which spoils the otherwise lovely setting. Hot water was occasionally unreliable. That said, the main pool was clean, sunbeds were usually available, and the 24-hour on-site shop was handy (though more essentials like sun cream would be great). We didn’t use the free shuttle to Lindos or Pefkos but others did and seemed happy with it. If taking taxis, confirm the price in advance – we were charged anywhere between €5 and €11 for the same trip. Overall, a great hotel with a lot of potential to be even better with a few fixes. We’d happily return.

Avoid at all costs – this place is a disgrace to hospitality Our experience was a complete nightmare from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed at 11:00 PM by a receptionist smoking a cigarette inside the lobby. That should’ve been the first red flag — and it only got worse. The room we were given was nothing like what we booked. We reserved a Suite junior private with a sea view, as confirmed in writing and advertised on their website. Instead, we got a noisy room near common areas, with no view and no peace. The floor was sticky and dirty, the towels smelled of damp, and many amenities shown in the photos — such as a hairdryer, proper furniture, and a relaxing view — were nowhere to be found. The photos online are outright misleading. At 6:00 AM, we were woken up by the staff loudly speaking in the hallway with other staff members. Later, at breakfast, the staff were smoking right next to where we were eating. Hygiene? Zero. We requested the correct room category we paid for. After pushback and excuses (“on Booking we only show photos of the best rooms...”), we were told to vacate our room so they could prepare the right one as a priority. We spent the whole day outside with our luggage, returned at 4:00 PM — room still not ready. At 6:00 PM, we were offered a room that had already been used by previous guests and not cleaned. That’s when we had enough. We demanded a refund, were told “nothing can be done,” and referred to Booking. Of course, the hotel refused the refund. To summarize: – False advertising – Total lack of hygiene and professionalism – Disrespectful, dishonest – You do NOT get what you pay for This was not just a bad experience — this was a scam. We left and found honest accommodation elsewhere. Do not book here unless you enjoy being lied to, disrespected, and robbed.
