Located down a steepish short road from the main road and up out of the village, this is easy to get to and from both the village and the krana, providing you are reasonably fit.||I was in the top room, no lift s had to carry luggage up and down stairs.||||Front door – dodgy handle, had problem opening . Very concerning||Door to balcony, also doesn’t fit well.||||||Small apartment, 2 single beds double wardrobe with 2 drawers, one bedside table with 2 shelves and 2 drawers. Table with 2 chairs. ||||Fridge, kettle, and 2 ring portable hob which has a dodgy wiring at unit end and taping around cable at plug end. Couple of pans, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery. Cooking utensils limited to 1 ladle, 1 wooden spatula, 1 wooden spoon. 1 wooden chopping board. 1 plastic bowl. No toaster, no microwave. If you are looking for self catering this is not suitable||||Beds firm and comfortable. 2 pillows each, 1 bedsheet each blankets in wardrobe if needed. Safe with key. Mirror in main area with shelf. This is only held up by a single central screw so will tilt is knocked. Plenty of hangers in wardrobe. Iron and small ironing board provided.||||Cleaner came every morning at around 10am so if you are out late and want a lie in the room won’t get cleaned. Change of sheets and towels after 4 days but no change for the second week. I was on my own so could use the second bed and towels provided. ||||Bathroom is very small. Basin toilet with fixing for seat broken so it moves. Loo roll is a stretch away as there is very little room to locate things. Three tier shelves for toiletries etc as well as space next to basin. ||Mixer shower, powerful, plenty of hot water. window shelf and tray for toiletries. Hooks for towels/bathrobes||Hairdryer in wall holder just outside bathroom door. Forget trying to get it to stay in the holder, the internal catch appears to be faulty – even the cleaner gave up.||||Lights – I main light with energy saving bulb, two over bed lights. Switches for all 3 in bed headboard. Switch for bathroom is in main room||Power – requires keyfob to be inserted. Non-standard size so a credit card size card won’t fit to allow aircon to be on when out. Also, the fob is magnetised. Not something I want near my cards or phone.||||Curtains are pointless, don’t prevent any light from coming into the room so expect to be awakened early by the sun beaming into the room ||||Internet so-so – not great speed.||||Basic standard for Greek ‘self catering’ apartment. Ok for a few days but not for a fortnight.||||Cost me €702 for the fortnight which I consider was overpriced, around €30 per night would be reasonable. There are probably much better options available for the price.||||If you are looking for a basic room this is ok, for self catering...
Read moreVery good location-- near St. Paul Bay beach, with parking close by, and in a quieter part of the village, away from the insane crowds of day trippers. Views of the acropolis and the bay. Well-equipped studios with kitchenette (two electric burners and everything you need to cook), sofa, safe, armoire, table and chairs, mosquito netting on one window). The top studio is best (spacious terrace with great views, privacy). The ground floor studio, where we stayed, has its own patio space with table, chairs and umbrella, but its in the thoroughfare, and you may hear the people upstairs more than you'd like. Luckily the owners and the first set of neighbors were very thoughtful and gave us plenty of space and privacy, so that wasn't a problem. One negative: the installation of the bedboard that kept us out of the room at the time when we wanted to take showers and cook dinner could have been better planned, but the work is done now, so it won't be a problem for you :-). Overall an excellent place to...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay! The owner, George, was very kind and helpful. He gave us great tips about restaurants, the beach, and the Acropolis. If something needed fixing in the room, he solved it quickly.
The room was nice, but the bathroom could use a small update — maybe replace the shower curtain and refresh the tile joints. It was a bit stuffy since there was no window or ventilation in the bathroom, but the air conditioner worked well at night. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t provide beach towels, but you can easily buy them in the city.
The TV wasn’t a smart TV, only local channels, but we didn’t use it much anyway. The noise from the road didn’t bother us, only sometimes from the neighbors. The view of the city was wonderful, especially at sunrise.
Overall, we were happy with our stay — perfect for a...
