On arrival we were greeted by staff and Mike at reception was efficient and helpful. Located on the main road, the hotel has amazing panoramic views of Lindos bay and the acropolis. The public areas are beautifully decorated with intricate tiling and pebble mosaic designs throughout. There are two pool areas offering comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas: both are not too crowded. There's a kid's pool and a bar/restaurant with shaded, outdoor seating to keep the whole family happy. If you have young children there is also a soft play area downstairs. The rooms are comfortable with a fresh, modern design and plenty of storage space. Ground floor rooms have ramp access for guests with mobility difficulties. The patios and balconies are all decorated with pebble mosaics and offer at least a partial view of the sea or acropolis. Sadly, the toilet seats are flimsy, which lets down the overall standard of the interior design. The rooms were cleaned with towels and sheets replenished daily, except on Sunday, which is understandable. The breakfast buffet is generous, with a wide choice of cereals, fruits, cooked dishes, breads, juices and hot beverages. But, this is also where this hotel fails: service. The man overseeing the breakfast delivery is, quite frankly, an intrusive bully, to both his staff and to the guests. He uses his great bulk to make his presence known, blocking the way of guests while ordering his staff (everyone of whom is hard-working and polite). He reprimands guests like a school teacher! Be warned: departure day! If you have a late transfer pick-up and wish to retain your room until the maximum time of 6pm, the sum of between €50 to €120 depending on room type is required. Likewise, if you opt to use the 'openly accessible' showers downstairs instead a mandatory charge of €7 per couple is enforced. It gets worse! If you would like to leave your bags securely while you make the most of your last day, a charge of €2 per bag is made. It's like the hotel is saying, "You've checked out now so we'll try to make money from you in any way we can because you are inconvenienced through no fault of your own." On our checkout day these additional charges caused much discussion and rebellion amongst departing guests, some opting to leave their luggage in the foyer.

I think we picked the best place to stay in Lindos, this 'hotel' was superb! The room we had was split into two by a dividing partition, this would allow more than 2 people to share the room, as there was a double bed and two couch/beds. The apartment was basic but clean, it had a fridge too and a couple of hot plates so you could, if the inclination took you, cook your own meals. We, however, had chosen half-board and what a bonus that was! The food is cooked to order from the menu and the presentation of that food was excellent, as was the taste!! Almost Cordon Bleu, absolutely unbelievable for a holiday hotel. This is thanks to Stavros, the chef, and his team, they really put their hearts into their work. The waiting and bar staff were so friendly and helpful, they even tolerated my attempts at Greek! You can eat outdoors under a canopy, in the shade or full sun, but even at breakfast the sun is scorching hot and we went at the end of September this year, so shade was best! There is indoor dining too if you so desire but why not enjoy the warm evenings outdoors as you try the fantastic Lamb Kleftiki, or Moussaka or one of the other excellent dishes! Dining al fresco also affords you the opportunity to view the Acropolis, a must-see during your stay, although you will have to be fairly fit to manage the walk up there, but for those less able you can take a donkey ride up there ! The pools in the hotel, there are two, are both good sized, warm and very clean, no scummy tiles at all, and there are plenty of sunbeds and parasols to go round. There us a small supermarket about 200 yards away from the hotel too, so you can stock up if you're self-catering. All in all, a lovely place to stay, we couldn't fault it, we had a great stay.

Hotel that truly lives up to its name. We stayed in an economy room and were pleasantly surprised by the stunning view of the Acropolis. For a budget room, it exceeded our expectations. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight — and in the evenings, the breeze made it the perfect place to relax. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were always warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Everything we ate and drank was great — the burgers, in particular, were delicious and very filling. There are two separate pools: one for families with children and one for adults only, which is a fantastic idea. Everyone can enjoy the pool in peace. The lounging areas were also really enjoyable, with very comfortable sunbeds. Also they has a shows at the pool bar area evenings such a greek night etc. It was so satisfied. Breakfast was more than sufficient, with a wide variety that caters to different cultures and tastes. As a lovely gesture, the hotel surprised us with a note and a bottle of wine for our honeymoon — such a thoughtful and heartwarming detail. The location is convenient — about a 15-minute walk to two popular beaches. If you have a car, it's even easier, though walking around Lindos is quite doable despite the cobblestone paths and some uphill roads. Every morning, we walked to the sea and returned to enjoy a lovely breakfast. Highly, highly recommended. A truly wonderful hotel — we’d choose it again without hesitation.

We stayed here for a week in early October. The room was an updated double. We requested a non ground floor room as I like to enjoy time on the balcony in relative peace and privacy. Unfortunately we were allocated to a ground floor room - 27. The room is nicely furnished and was very clean but to access it means going down a narrow passage which is poorly lit at night. The patio door had a large crack in the bottom glass panels and the patio area was really dark due to being partially sunken and in an enclosed area. The corner got sun for 5 minutes a day and it took 3 days for my bikini to dry. The room looked out onto the raised garden area, the front doors of the opposite rooms plus the car park.It was gloomy and cool. I would not recommend this room to anybody staying late season.|The hotel itself is lovely. It is kept very clean and the staff are friendly. The pools are nice and the view of Lindos and the Acropolis from the dining room are amazing.|We stayed half board. As vegetarians we enjoyed the breakfast - yoghurt, cereals, toast and a variety of hot items. Avoid the fruit juice if you dislike sugary concoctions. My husband really enjoyed the cheese pies and spinach pies. The only criticism would be that I had slices or orange on 2 days which I could not eat as they tasted of onion - either from the use of the same knife or the hands of one of the kitchen staff.|Evening meals were not nearly as nice for vegetarians. There was always a variety of salad items but hot food was very restricted. Pasta every night. One night there was stir fried vegetables and sweet and sour sauce however that was the night that the rice contained meat so it had to be eaten with chips or pasta. That seemed to lack forethought. Another night there was ratatouille. But all in all the dinner fare was very repetitive and boring for those who do not eat meat or fish. On our last night we just needed a change and ate a wonderful vegan moussaka in T-veg just off the square in Lindos.|To sum up the hotel is lovely and the views amazing. I doubt I would return though after our evening meal and allocated room experience. I note on previous reviews vegetarian options were criticised and the hotel commented that they would try and address this. Sadly that is not...

Where to begin? From the very first second to the last, we had an absolutely fabulous time at the Lindos View Hotel. We experienced THE most wonderfully, welcoming, helpful and friendly staff team. Every single member of that team played an immense role in making our holiday one of the best we have ever had. ||The hotel itself is extremely clean and well looked after, our room was wonderful with a balcony and a beautiful view of The Acropolis. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the curtains to the balcony gave great blackout cover if needed. There’s even a little washing line for drying swimwear.||There are 2 pools available, we spent our pool time in and around the ‘Quiet’ one which has a Jacuzzi side (wonderfully relaxing) and also has a bar area with QR code ordering and table service, so if you don’t want to move from your sunbed, you don’t have to. Although we would personally recommend you do, as the staff are very interesting to chat to and never seem to stop smiling. The bar offers hot and cold drinks, ice cream and snacks. ||We chose to book as a Bed & Breakfast option and then chose to eat either outside the hotel or pay to eat in the Hotel Restaurant at night. The restaurant food is freshly made, varied and delicious. Hot and cold food is available at both ends of the day, with fresh salads, breads, fruit, cheeses, vegetables, seeds, soups and puddings (the cold rice pudding at breakfast is an absolute delight!). The restaurant team is top notch too, tables are cleared very efficiently and fresh food supplies are regularly ‘topped up’.||I had a birthday while we were staying and to say they made me feel special is a real understatement. We received a bottle of wine in our room on arrival, on my birthday the staff brought me a little birthday cake with a candle to our breakfast table and when we returned to our room there was a bottle of wine with a fabulous, personalised ‘birthday scroll’. Delightful experience!||Finally, it really was the staff team that made this holiday so wonderful, our thanks go to you all! Extra mentions go the Manager, our Room Cleaner, the Chef, Restaurant Manager and the Table Waiting staff…thank you all so very much for everything you did for us! We hope to see...
