Domotel Olympia — Hotel in Municipality of Thessaloniki

Update with a reply : I was never offered a bottle of water and the answer was go to the nearest open shop to buy . I would have definitely accepted to pay 1.5 eur if he offered. You told us you will call us back as per the noise but you never did . I even told the front desk I was pregnant but not even that was taken into consideration. Such an unprofessional way to even lie on your reviews .

Review : I am extremely disappointed with our stay at Domotel Olympia. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an overwhelming amount of noise coming from the next-door room. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff at the reception, they were dismissive and unhelpful, claiming there was no one staying next to us and even asking for the room number – as if I should be aware of other guests' whereabouts.

After multiple attempts to communicate the issue, we were promised a call back regarding our room change request due to personal health reasons. Unfortunately, that call never came, leaving us stuck in a room that not only reeked of plastic but also had a leaking shower, resulting in unpleasantly damp conditions. To make matters worse, the towels provided had an unbearable stench post-shower. In the evening (around 23:00) we asked the reception for a bottle of water . But OFC they did not have any water by the reception and he could not bring one from the bar cause it was closed . We were suggested to walk 10 min to a shop to buy . Whole hotel not having a bottle of water that was another nice surprise .

The only silver lining of our stay was the breakfast, which was a small consolation for the multitude of problems we encountered. There is no parking not even to unload your luggage . On the top of the cake we got some cake or food on the door of the room the next day . I assume from the next room “ that no one stays” Ultimately, we had no choice but to endure these unacceptable conditions for the duration of our one-day stay. Upon check-out, I mentioned the issues to the receptionist, who inquired if we had previously reported the problems. Frankly, I am appalled by the suggestion that I should have dedicated my limited time to addressing their maintenance and service shortcomings.

I made a single request for assistance during our stay, and the complete lack of response or support from Domotel Olympia is utterly disappointing. I will not be returning, nor can I in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a peaceful and...

Decent and modern decoration, has just the right amount of stuff you need. If you will stay in your hotel room the whole day, you might claustrophobic though. The hotel in general was perfectly clean, central (not on the main street though, don't be disappointed), the breakfast made me feel at home, staff was very friendly and welcoming and gave all insider info needed. It is a horror to find a parking spot though, we didn't/couldn't drive in the city as we were worried about parking and the traffic jams. It is much better to walk, bars are close (2-5mins walking distance), cafes and restaurants (if you choose to eat/dine outside of the hotel) are also close and many options. In walking distance to the Roman Forum (can easily be seen from outside), Rotunda, Arch of Galerius, Atatürk's House and several shopping streets (Egnatia etc is in a couple minutes walking distance). The coastal line, White Tower and other places to visit are around 10-15 mins from the hotel. Definitely worth a stay.

Temiz, modern dekore edilmis, kibar, ilgili ve ozenli calisanlari olan bir otel. Merkezi (ancak alisveris sokaklarina ve bazi tarihi noktalara 5-10dk yuruyus mesafesinde) ancak araba park yeri bulmak tam bir iskence, park yeri bulursaniz kipirdatmayin, yurureyerek tahminen 10-15dkda tum gezilesi mekanlara ulasabilirsiniz :) Atatürk'ümüzün Dogdugu Ev ve Rotunda da yine 10-15dk yuruyerek....

We stayed at the hotel in May this year. I was very disappointed with the man who checked us in. There was no welcome no nothing. I asked about the upgrade that we had to bid for, the email said I will be told at the hotel. He said no no you did not get it as we are booked out and all rooms have been taken. Well why ask people to try for an upgrade in the first place. We did not realise that the room was so small we had problems putting our luggage inside. The bathroom was so so small only one person could fit in it. Why, is this not explained when you make the booking. We asked the next day if we could upgrade the room this time is was a female at the counter she said in her own words a definite no. So so upset. We went for breakfast in the morning and it looked ok. But there was no hot food. I asked if I could have fried eggs. I asked for a toast. The girl in the restaurant said no we do not make this. We have to eat was is there. I cannot eat some food and there was very little I could eat. I found the staff not very happy no smiles no hello. Again very upsetting. We found some very nice and friendly restaurants in the area better than the hotel.|Why was there a fridge by the bed...
