It has this feeling of a newly built facility: clean and modern, large spaces that are supposed to handle big streams of people. At the time it was almost empty except for occasional groups interested in reading the information and watching the presentation about this subway. The cool thing is that there are different layers of excavations- Hellenic period, Roman, Ottoman and those periods are clearly marked so you can see the depth of history.
