Black Diamond Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

This villa was a welcome surprise the suite had breath taking views. It was bright, airy spacious, stylish, clean and just all round fab. The quality and level of service started right from my airport pickup. The driver was professional, and kind. The car was clean and air-conditioned. My flight was early and Gregory allowed me to check in at 8.30 am at no extra charge. When I arrived I met Costas the BDS manager, who greeted me with a big smile and a double espresso. He let me settle in and then asked about my plans and if I required any help. I had a 36-hour stay in Santorini and Costas and his wife made it one for the books. I had a late brunch and a 6-hour boat cruise with a picturesque sunset. I returned after 9 pm and had a dip in the Jacuzzi and some local wine suggested by Anna. My second day began with a hearty breakfast with tons of options to choose from. Costas took the time to drive me to a lovely lounge bar named Wet Stories with a great vibe, I was only in Santorini for a short trip and he had all these ideas of what I could do in 24 hours. In the late afternoon, Anna took me all around Fira it was a lovely experience shopping, and learning about the history of Santorini. Later that night Costas joined us for an amazing dinner in a quaint restaurant and they dropped me off at the airport. The experience was just what the doctor ordered. We booked this room with my family traveling to Greece from Florida United States at 8/31 and 9/1 Our experience at Black Diamond Suites was terrible. They named the place suites but this room has nothing to do with suites or even close. The room was horribly dirty. Shower walls was full of mold and mildew and as a result of this I got a very bad sinusitis which ruin most of my vacation time..There were remaining blood stains on the master bed linens, the closet was full of trash on the top and there was a broken selfie stick on the top of it. The guest sofa bed doesn't exist. They actually mean two concrete build benches with few inches mattress on it. We wake up next morning with back pain. The private pool was dirty with leaves and insects. Yuck! It's too gross! Significant shortages in the room (no hangers in the closet, no wine opener e.t.c) Breakfast at Black Diamond Suites was horrible too. Just boiled eggs two portions of honey for two people, toast bread not fresh, few slices of cheese and ham was processed, definitely not the quality we expect, orange juice from concentrate. The price of $850 euros we paid was extremely unfair for the services and the room we stayed. When we complained for all this situation we faced a sarcastic behavior and ridiculous excuses from the hotel's administration.We filled a complaint at Hellenic Consumers' Ombudsman and we ask for a...

Where do we start, we were the first reservation of the 2023 season. Where the magic of this oasis starts is with Gregory and Panos, what kind and caring people they truly are and made our family feel like special guests. The accommodations are best described as a luxury cottage, truly relaxing , tranquil and beautiful. Our adult turning family enjoyed daily the wonderful hot tub with truly breathtaking views of caldera. They also helped arrange a rent a car used to explore the wonders and beauty of the Santorini island. We had a perfect ending to our trip with the recommendation of visiting the lighthouse where we had a later afternoon flight and they allowed us to leave luggage until our transfer to the airport. I couldn’t miss mentioning our wonderful welcome drinks with small tapas, plus wonderful homemade breakfast. We loved starting our day with this treat.
