Horrible stay. I don’t understand how booking.com allows its customers to book here through its company. We arrived at this place at 7/8pm and there were a few flies, we thought nothing of it and went out for food/on a walk. We came back at about 11pm and the room was swarmed with flies. One flew in my eye and I panicked and went straight to the owner to ask for a new room. He didn’t have any other rooms available but he did not seem surprised at all by my complaint. He knew straight away to get the hoover and had someone HOOVER THE WALLS. This was definitely not a new thing he was prepared and gave us bug deterrent for the plugs. I called them seventeen times at the phone number they listed, but they never answered the phone. They finally sent me an email telling me to rebook the hotel, but there was no room available for the five nights. Read moreI visited Edem a few days ago and my overall experience was very pleasant. The room was clean with a large bathroom. Also, Mr Jannis, was really helpful and available anytime for his guests. The only problem was the absence of real curtains- the windows had only those office style curtains which don't really block the sun in the morning.
