Read moreMy boyfriend and I stayed for a week in July and overall, we had a lovely time. If you don’t mind a very short walk into Oia (10 mins tops), this is a great location, quiet, and cheaper than those closer to the main town.||||We watched the sunset from our balcony a few nights instead of going out as we had the perfect view. One night I cooked dinner at the apartment as there was a small electric stove and some pans. Enough to make pasta! Breakfast was good each morning; we had yoghurt, honey, jam and marmalade, Pitta bread, olive paste, sun dried tomatoes and capers, cheese and ham, cereals and hot drinks. There wasn’t fresh milk though but there’s a few shops nearby to buy. ||The apartment itself had a loft where the kitchenette was and downstairs was the bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed, though a little on the small side if I had to make any criticisms. Also- the shower was a little temperamental (going hot and cold, didn’t always stay on). Plenty of space to hang clothes with hangers included. Fan in the room was definitely a life saver as it got HOT in July. We had it on all night. ||||The owner was very lovely and helpful, she even gave us some salt when my boyfriend asked - I came down with a throat infection on the trip and didn’t want to pay mega for the antibiotics. Salt gargle saved me! ||||Anyway.... lovely place, totally recommend. Meze Meze (restaurant) nearby is well worth a visit too if you want to have a night close to the hotel rather than...
Read moreForget about the 150 m walk from the parking, you will have to do it in most of Oia anyway. The place is an absolute haven of peace, quiet with an amazing sunset from the top. Mornings are quiet as it is off the crowded path. The place is absolutely not isolated as some reviews would make you think. Plenty of restaurants around and among the best in Oia! Interior design of rooms is made by the owner who travels the world during off season. Not unusual to find Indian and Chinese furniture, African artifacts and so on... Inside rooms are very earthy, warm and welcoming. All comfort is offered, and do not miss to take your breakfast on the common patio outside, a thrilling experience. Or your evening drink.||The owner, who run the place, and who is present all day and most of nights is the angel. She will recommend the best places to visit and the best restaurants to eat in Santorini, follow her advises. I do travel a lot, whether for business or leisure, and I have not met anywhere that matches her service. Truly thankful to her, I firmly believe she made our holidays unforgettable. And I hope that you can arrive as a guest and leave a friends as we did.||Same place, same interior and service in center Oia will not be found at less than 2,000 eur/night. You are just 5-10 min walk to center Oia. Worth every cents.||Very highly...
