Pink Freud Villas Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I stayed at the Pink Freud Villa with my mom, and I must say this was the best decision I’ve ever made when traveling to Santorini! We were picked up by a driver, which you can arrange ahead of time with Lena, the owner and the sweetest lady. Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted with warm welcome from freshly baked cheese bread/pastry, to the water, bread, cheese and such in the fridge, and if you’re lucky, the owner’s cute black cat might come say hi too.

This villa also has the privacy that villas or hotels don’t in Oia, which is where all the famous Santorini photos are taken with the white walls and blue domes. If you look at photos of Oia, it is beautiful but it’s filled with tourist and you get no privacy if you’re chilling in your pool. Also, vehicles can drop you right in front of the Pink Freud Villa, if you decide to rent a car, there’s also a parking lot right next to it. If you stay in Oia and you have a lot of heavy luggage, you might need to carry those down the small stairs and winding roads, or unless your hotel provides services to help you carry those down for you from the main road at the top. The Pink Freud is located in Finikia, which is a quiet town right next to Oia, it’s only a 10-15min walk to the beautiful Oia town. I strongly suggest you bring/wear very comfortable shoes or sneakers.

When you visit, definitely try the delicious food at Mia’s restaurant just at the beginning of Oia, it’s got an amazing view of the entire Oia and has the best sunset view! Santorini is known for its sunset and you can see it right at your patio at the Villa, which is an amazing amazing bonus!! Santorini gets pretty windy in the winter, and everything is closed, so make sure you visit outside of Nov-Feb. We visited in mid-Oct and the weather was just perfect! The temperature was pretty consistent throughout the day and night at around 73-75 degrees Fahrenheit / 21-25 degrees Celsius.

Overall, it’s a great price for such a nice Villa at such a great location with exceptional hospitality. The owner and the team really REALLY care about their guests and are just such amazing people in general. Highly...

Me and my partner stayed in June 2023, we had an amazing five night stay at Pink Freud Villas, which exceeded our expectations in every way. Lena and her team welcomed us with open arms from the first moment and provided a tour of the villa and its fantastic amenities. The villa itself had everything we needed, with a modern kitchen and a jetted pool where we could relax and enjoy the unreal sunsets.

Upon our arrival, We were given some Greek pies from Maria which were very tasty and some fresh cherries in the fridge. The villa's design was magnificent, giving a modern and elegant ambiance. Both bedrooms had beautiful ocean views, and another place to see the sunsets. The living room was a perfect place to relax, and you have the option to dine either in the indoor dining room or outdoor dining area. The pool area was an great spot to unwind and soak in the evening atmosphere whilst watching the unforgettable sunsets

As a couple, we had lots of space as we slept in one room and used the other room for clothes. The villa would also be perfectly suitable for a family of four or two couples. The location is the perfect balance, as it was only a 10min walk to Oia town, but far enough away to ensure privacy and an escape from the busy streets. Parking was not an issue at all as there are a lot of space across the street.

Lena proved to be an exceptional host, offering invaluable recommendations for restaurants and must-visit spots on the island. Thanks to Linas suggestions, we experienced the beautiful restaurant delights of 'Krinaki,' a restaurant just a minute's walk from the villa which had a lot of local dishes, and also ‘Mia’s’ which is located in Oia and has amazing views and a beautiful menu where we savoured incredible food. I would definitely recommend going and trying there lunch menu.

Without a doubt, we will return to Pink Freud Villas for future stays, and I recommend it to couples, families, or groups of friends visiting Santorini. Here, you not only enjoy the luxury of a stunning villa but also benefit from Lena's expertise and insider knowledge...

Pink Freud villa was everything and more we could have asked for! It was our first time going to the island, Lena set up our transportation to villa and upon arrival we were greeted with open arms and fresh baked goods from Maria ! The Villa was so clean and beautifully set up, you are close by to the hustle and bustle of oia and close by villages, restaurants and markets. You can step out the door and have adventures but come back home to peace and quiet, breathtaking views, a dip in the pool (which is cleaned and tooken care of for you everyday), and all the comforts you need. The kitchen was great for cooking at home when you don’t make it out to a close by restaurant for a meal. Our expectations were filled above and beyond, Lena kept great communication with us and always answered any questions we had immediately. Lena set up all our excursions for us, she put us in contact with our car rental service, transportation services and made great recommendations for things to do on the island. Santorini was an island like we had never experienced before and we will definitely be back and we would book with pink Freud again in a heart beat ♥️Maria made sure everything was kept tidy for us everyday and we were so appreciative of that. If you are thinking of heading to this beautiful island make sure to take a look at Pink Freud you will|Not be disappointed, not only for its comforts, beauty and location let alone the amazing view but you will feel safe comfortable and well tooken care of here.
