We have just arrived home after our week stay at the Hotel Kafouros and it was fantastic . There wasn’t a single thing I could complain about. The family who own it are lovely and can’t do enough for you…the whole family work incredibly hard and it shows with how great everything is. ||We were greeted upon arrival by Eleni the hotel manager who made us feel so welcome. We were checked in within 5 minutes and bags taken to our room. She gave us a map of Kamari and explained how to get to the centre. Our daughter is autistic and was wearing her sunflower lanyard and this was noticed it straight away and we were asked if there was anything else we needed or they could do. ||We stayed in a triple studio Room 15 above the reception and it was perfect for us. Air conditioning was €5 per day and the safety deposit box was €10 for the week. We actually found the rooms nice and cool but did pay for the air conditioning as it did get hot at night. ||The room was comfortable with a double bed and a proper bed for our daughter. A large bathroom with a massive rainwater shower. Loads of storage for all our things. ||The whole place was immaculately clean . I’ve never seen anything like it. The room was cleaned daily including floors swept and mopped .The pool side clean, and the beds wiped down daily . Bins emptied constantly . ||The pool is lovely and big, thick comfortable sunbeds . We never had any issues getting a sunbed despite it being August and the hotel full. | |It’s 6 minutes walk to the middle of the square and shop . 12 minutes to the bus stop and 5 minutes to the sea front. ||The hotel is full of returning guests and I can see why. If you’re thinking of booking do. You won’t be...

Pretty reasonably priced too.|The cleaners visit every day and keep everything spick and span.|The beach and bars/restaurants are only 5 mins walk away so far enough to enjoy the quiet (except for when the planes fly over lol). There is a long beach front promenade with some really nice restaurants. The beach isn't great as it is black pebbly volcanic but plenty of people seem to enjoy it. There's jet bikes too for the more adventurous.|We went on a couple of trips out using the excellent local bus service. The stop is only 10-15 mins away and is just a couple of euros to Fira. Then you can get onward buses if you're going elsewhere.|All in all a terrific hotel for your base whilst you explore the beautiful island of...
Read moreToday we returned from the most wonderful stay at Hotel Kafouros, a charming, family-run gem in Kamari, Santorini — and we’re already dreaming of going back. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the entire Kafouros family, each of them so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home.||There’s something truly special about the atmosphere at Hotel Kafouros. It was lovely to see so many returning guests, many of whom greeted the family like old friends. It speaks volumes about the experience they create here — warm, personal, and unforgettable.||The hotel itself is spotless and full of character, with thoughtful details throughout that reflect the pride and love the family pours into everything they do. The location is ideal — tucked away on a quiet street just a short stroll from Kamari Beach, with great restaurants and shops nearby, and easy access to all the island’s highlights.||We can’t wait to return — and next time, we hope to bring more of our own family along, so they too can experience the heartfelt hospitality and charm that makes Hotel Kafouros such a...
