Ego&Esy — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

On many nights when we walked home from the bus stop, we heard nice Greek live music, and this is how we discovered this restaurant. We were amazed by the bouzouki player there, so we decided to eat dinner here someday. On 2 out of 7 days, we heard a female singer as well.

The place outside is also gorgeous, with cute lamps and the surrounding trees.

The waitress was very attentive and accommodating. They have a few vegetarian options, like pizza, risotto and salads. We are vegan, and they offered to make any of these dishes vegan, so we went for the risotto. It was originally with pumpkin cream (containing milk), so they made it with tomato sauce for us. I have to note, that the waitress wasn’t aware with the meaning of vegan, so we had to explain it.

They have nice big portions and reasonable prices, though the service felt like a bit too slow.

Perfect Location! It’s a super good atmosphere, beautiful to sit outside. The food was great and the prices are super fair! One of my best restaurant experiences yet. They also had great live music, the singer came to our table and talked with us, they tried to get all the people to dance, that was a lot of fun! Even if you are shy and don’t want to dance it’s nice to watch it. Also we smashed some plates for free and even the waitress vorso was dancing with us. We walked in, in this neighborhood restaurant in Kamari, Santorini, we dined in and was greeted by the beautiful & friendly server "Vaso"great service , excellent fresh grilled fish.
