Our stay at Kasimatis was incredible. The views, the accomodations, the breakfasts, the service, the kindness of the staff -- all was phenomenal! We can't say enough about this experience. There are lots of stairs, but they add to the ambiance of the hotel and the strong bellmen are able to carry your heavy luggage. The balcony view was amazing!!! The service of the Greek professionals was like none I have experienced in the U.S. Every member of the staff was accomodating. They looked you in the eye and said "you are welcome" when thanked for their service. They offered to help in any way possible. Salome, at the front desk, was beautifully and professionally dressed and so very accommodating. If you asked for her services, she would actually RUN to get whatever was needed. While at the hotel, we had a masseuse come and provide us with a fabulous massage. The hotel provided a room for the massage because my room was so littered with luggage! The massage was fabulous and much appreciated. You can't imagine a more delicious breakfast. The bar was staffed by an amazing guy whose goal was to help in any way possible. I wish the staff could come to the U.S. and teach such kindness and patience. (It's GOT to be hard to deal with demanding tourists on vacation.) They are an inspiration and a model for me. Thank you for such a wonderful trip! (Shout out, also, to Pink Dot nails just across the way -- what a great manicure and...

Beware — there is no protocol pertaining to the 3 poolside beds, so you will see selfish guests leaving their towels all day so that no one else can enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately, we experienced an unpleasant verbal altercation with such an obtuse guest in our first hour on the property and decided not to go back to the pool again. My review would have been 5 stars had the manager Dimitra called me back to discuss the issue, but she neglected to do so, hence the poorer than deserved review.

In reality, this is an amazing place with a supreme sunset view and top class gastronomic restaurant and room service experience. The breakfasts on the terrace were incredible, as were the friendly staff who made our stay special.

If you’re considering visiting Kasimatis (and you should), I’d strongly suggest that you a) book a room closest to the sea (so that you aren’t woken up by the hundreds of tourists that wake up early to trek to Oia and aren’t kept awake by the bar above you as in our room #11) and b) book a room with a mini pool so that you don’t have to get into arguments with other guests about where to sit.

Oh, and you can enjoy the best of what Santorini has to offer from this hotel if you enjoy walking. We took a 10-hour tour to all parts of the island and wish that we would have just stayed...

Hin und her, ohne Ergebnis.

Myself and my husband spent 5 nights at this stunning hotel to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. First impressions, WOW! Stunning location, amazing views! Staff here are amazing! Very friendly and always happy to help! Breakfast is served to you balcony/terrace every morning, with a choice of omelettes, I chose the Greek one it was amazing, Hubbie had the ham and it was excellent. Also freshly squeezed orange juice, choice of tea or coffee, pancakes, bread, croissants! All brilliant! So excellent service, food and views, can’t beat it. Hotel restaurant Ammilos , part of the hotel, was beautiful, the food and service once again were excellent and the views, breathtaking! Rooms, we booked the honeymoon suit with caldera view and a private hot tub, we were blown away, we had room 18, it was very private and as it was the lowest floor nobody walked passed the room. Bedding was changed daily as were the towels and pool towels, daily cleaning also. Overall we had the best time! We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to go back soon
