Ammilos Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

Probably the best food and service we've had on our trip so far. The food was so nice we ended up ordering another dish after first ordering 3. The tart and the cuttlefish risotto are highly recommended from us due to being our 2 favourites out of the 4 mains we shared between us (beef meatballs and grilled octopus). Cocktails and wine were also fantastic and we ended with the ravani with mastic ice cream which not suprisingly, was delicious.

We came on the first week of September and easily got a table with no reservation at sunset. It was actually pretty quiet with over half the tables empty. Very surprised considering how Metaxi Mas was fully booked at sunset until the middle of September when I made a reservation back in August. Definitely feel like this place is maybe overlooked due to all the other restaurants that have 1k+ reviews.

The staff were lovely, very attentive and even offered a blanket to put around you due to it being a bit windy!

We had a great dinner at Ammilos Restaurant!

We read great reviews about this restaurant and made a reservation for the front row to watch the sunset together. The stunning views of the caldera were spectacular from our table. The restaurant provided us blankets as well in case we felt cold due to the wind, since it’s located on a higher and windier level of Imerovigli.

We were very satisfied with the food, beautiful presentation and tasteful platters. There’s plenty of options to choose from when it comes to (alcoholic) drinks and food. Prices are very reasonable and definitely lower than other restaurants in the same area.

The staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly. We can definitely recommend...

What an absolutely amazing experience for our last night in Santorini! This is a new restaurant that opened up this season in Imerovigli which just looked too good to pass up! We had the front balcony seat to watch the most amazing sunset I’ve seen in my life. The service was absolutely fantastic! Yiannis (John) and his team had the most calming warm service and made sure we were looked after including giving me a blanket after the sun set. Absolutely coming back here! No doubt it will be the number one sunset restaurant in Santorini by the time we are back. Can’t wait for everyone to try it. Oh and did we mention the food and cocktails were delicious too?! The whole experience was just divine!...
