With a privileged position, on the crest of Santorini's caldera, Galaxy offers 2 outdoor pools overlooking the Aegean Sea, and accommodation with a hot tub or private pool. Serving an American, a la carte breakfast, the restaurant opens to spacious verandas with views over the volcano. Each air-conditioned suite of Galaxy Suites & Spa has an elegant Cycladic style, and a marble or mosaic bathroom. All have an LCD TV, a fridge and free WiFi. A rich American breakfast with traditional Greek dishes, made with fresh local ingredients, is served by the pool area or in the privacy of the guests’ rooms. There is also a pool bar, where guests can enjoy the sunset to the sounds of lounge music. Drinks, cocktails and light meals are served. Galaxy Suites is ideally located in the quiet village of Imerovigli, yet within just 2 km from the bustling capital of the island, Fira. Free public parking is possible near Galaxy Suites. The rooms need to be renovated as they feel a bit dated and not as luxurious as one would imagine considering the price paid. The restaurant has very limited choice and is very pricey. Something else they should consider is that at least one member of staff is available 24/7 in case of emergencies. 눇Nikos the host did his very best to assist us with whatever you required. The room had a good degree of privacy compared to others and the views were amazing. The infinity pool was to die for. Breakfast was also good. he views are basically magic. We had our own hot tub from which we'd watch each day's sunset with a beautiful cocktail. It was the perfect hotel, in the perfect location to get away from it all. It is really well situated, an easy walk to lots of great restaurants, right in line with the sunset and it was quiet. Nikos and the team there are excellent. HOTEL: The views at this place were amazing. We could see all the way to Oia! The view from our room (#19) was incredible and PERFECT for watching the sunset. The hotel also has a restaurant called "Moustache" at the top where we ate a lovely dinner for our final night. Risotto was AMAZING. It's right next to the pool and overlooking the water.

ROOM: Our room was spacious with a private hot tub and a fantastic view overlooking the semi-private pool. If we needed towels, they were brought promptly.

SERVICE: Staff was unmatched. From Katie at the front desk to all the friendly gentlemen whose names I cannot remember, everyone was amazing. We would order breakfast every day via a form that we filled out and gave to the front desk, which promptly arrived on time to our hotel room for an outdoor meal. Doesn't get much better than that. Katie made tons of recommendations to us and also organized our taxi transfers to/from the hotel. Just email them a couple of days in advance.

AREA: The area this hotel was located in was perfect. It was quiet, yet within walking distance to restaurants and a long but lovely walk along the Caldera to Thira. Would NOT have stayed anywhere else, which I think were much more touristy.

Every morning, we enjoyed indulgent and delicious breakfasts served directly to our room, making for a perfect start to our day.
