My husband, son and I stayed for 10 days and from the moment we arrived at the airport the experience was top notch.||||The property is run very professionally by Kostas and Roula, supported by the Zamira and Freddy. In addition, they are the friendliest, most helpful hotel team I have encountered. They really care about their guests and go above an beyond to ensure the best possible stay.||||On the night of our arrival Kostas picked us up at the airport - this was particularly welcome bonus as we arrive very late at night.||||The accommodation is traditional & quaint and is beautifully styled, with every amenity needed for a very comfortable stay. My husband and I stayed in duplex apartment and our son in a studio apt.||||The lovely breakfast (freshly squeezed orange, fresh fruit, selection of sweet & savoury pasties and eggs) arrived on a tray each morning delivered by the always smiling Zamira. Sometimes we had it on our balcony and other mornings on the terrace over-looking the pool. ||||The rooms were spotlessly clean and Zamira did an amazing job every day. ||||Our duplex (room 2) had a balcony which gave a birds-eye view of the famous Santorini sunset and it was large enough for the 3 of us to sit and have dinner on the evenings we didn't want to go out to a restaurant. ||||I thought the studios might be a little dark because they are downstairs but this is definitely not the case. They are bright and airy with their own terrace. ||||Both the duplex and the studio had a kitchenette with Nespreso machine & coffee pods, sandwich toaster, microwave, pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery. The fridge was stocked with everyday essentials (milk, bread, fruit juice, cheese, ham, jams and butter) and was replenished when items were used. ||||The linens used are high quality and are changed 3 times during the week.||||The air-conditioning is was very efficient and gave very welcome relief as the temperature rarely dropped below 30C during our stay. ||||We made use of the pool every day and even though it is not very big we loved having a dip in the afternoon. ||||We needed to have laundry done - again Kostas took care of this for us. ||||The town of Imerovigli is within easy walking distance of Fira but I recommend using the local bus to get back if out and about during the day. It's only a 2.5km walk but it is uphill on the way back and there is little or no shelter along the path. ||||||Thank you Kostas, Roula, Zamira and Freddy- we cannot wait...
Read moreThis is the place to stay on Santorini. First of all the staff, Kostas, Freddie and the housekeeper (I wish I gotten her name), made our stay so comfortable. |They were welcoming and attentive to any of our needs. That included him immediately responding to an electrical problem after we returned from a late dinner. |The suite we had was an upgrade they offered instead of the one I had booked. Also they were gracious in allowing us to rebook after our trip in May had gotten interrupted. |The room had 2 bathrooms and 3 showers , 2 bedrooms with large beds, kitchen, dining area, living room, 3 patio areas! It had an indoor hot tub and a larger on one of the decks. |The location was perfect for walking to many restaurants in town. We loved sitting on one of the patios with the amazing, unobstructed view. It was fun watching passersby who were walking the “trail” from Fira to Oia. It is a trek I do not recommend because it is arduous, especially in the heat, even in mid September. We walked a little ways on it one evening. Parts were very rough large volcanic cobblestone that was hard to traverse with sturdy shoes. Most people we saw were not properly attired for such a hike. |Back to the wonderful room where we spent most of our time on Santorini. |They brought us breakfast each morning. They were delicious meals that included several courses. It was so much food, that we would also make a lunch from the parts we couldn’t finish each morning. |I hope you are lucky and stay here. Imerovigli is not as touristy as Fira or Oia and it is conveniently located. |We drove to Oia for dinner one night. It was insane with sooooo many tourists. I would not enjoy staying...
Read moreWe booked this place owing to its superb location size (7 rooms) and boutiqueness for 3 nights. Our tour reviews indicated it's best to stay between Oia and Thira. We were not disappointed with Imeroviglion location and this hotel in particular. Kostas was very responsive to our requests.||We were picked up from the ferry port by arrangement and upon arrival were given the option of room upgrade. We stayed in a 2 storey room facility facing the pool. The ground floor had the living room, kitchen, bathroom with spa bath and balcony at the rear. The front entrance had a table and chairs facing the pool. Through flight of steps we entered the master bedroom with entrance to the deck facing the caldera - amazing view. ||We were given local white wine as a welcome drink together with fully stocked fridge, fruits and snacks etc. The daily breakfast was great and swim in the pool at the end of each day was great. ||Kostas and his team were very pleasant and supportive. The location is great to go to all the local restaurants. Above all you don't need to go to Oia to get a view of the sunset. You can do no better then sitting in your private deck sipping away your drink. We found Anigo restaurant a wonderful recommendation .... It's one of the best restaurant for food quality and service (booking essential and open for dinners only). ||Thank you again Kostas for this...
