I recently had the pleasure of dining at MamaLena Imerovigli restaurant in Santorini, Greece. This charming restaurant may not have had a sea view, but it made up for it with its delicious food and lovely ambiance.
One of the highlights of my dining experience was the steak. It was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. The meat was juicy and succulent, making every bite a delight. The seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural taste of the meat without overpowering it. I highly recommend trying their steak if you visit MamaLena.
Another standout dish was the fish. It was simply outstanding. The fish was fresh and expertly prepared. The flavors were well-balanced, and each bite offered a delightful combination of textures and tastes. It was evident that great care went into selecting and cooking this dish.
While MamaLena Imerovigli lacked a sea view, the restaurant's interior design and atmosphere more than made up for it. The decor was tasteful and created a cozy yet elegant ambiance. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at MamaLena Imerovigli restaurant in Santorini. The steak was mouthwatering, and the sardine fish was exceptional. Although lacking a sea view, the restaurant's beautiful setting made up for it. If you're looking for delicious food in a charming atmosphere while visiting Santorini, I highly recommend giving MamaLena...
Read moreIf you’re in the area, choosing this restaurant is a must. As a family of picky eaters from Singapore with high food standards, the food here really awed us. We just came from Naples and compared to every meal we had there, this meal was a strong winner.
Using AI, we analysed some of the best dishes to order. Our selection started with the fried tomato ball and it came with a sensational yogurt sauce. The grilled octopus was tender and the portion was generous. The mixed grill platter was a mountain of delicious meats. The moussaka tasted better than the lasagna in Napoli. The pork steak was juicy. Finally, the shrimp tomato pasta is comparable to the ones we just had in Napoli too.
Overall an amazing experience. The restaurant even gave us some free desserts to end off the evening....
Read moreA bit on the pricy side, with food being a hit and miss. The mixed meat grill platter was pretty good and was more than adequate for two people. The lamb kotsi was delicious, as were the accompaniments of tender, flavourful vegetables and a rich carrot and potato purée. The tomato balls were alright, although it was our first time trying it and we felt that it lacked any kind of tomatoey flavour. Avoid the fish soup. For €16, we expected more than just a clear and overly oily broth with sad little remnants of fish. While it was a huge bowl, who can comfortably drink a vat of soup like that in one sitting? There were petite ice cream bars as dessert on the house, which was thoughtful, but I’d save the calories on something else if you want a...
