Minavra Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Vari - Voula - Vouliagmeni

The location was perfect for me (hired a car), in between Athens and the airport. Also very near the beach (5 minutes walk). The price was very fair for what one gets.||Arrived on a late flight and was made very welcome (24 hour reception).||The hotel had recently been refurbished I was told. It was very clean in all areas (room, shower area and common areas at the ground floor). The bed was comfortable.||All the Staff was extremely helpful. George (Γιώργος από Ιωάννινα, the night porter) was knowledgeable of the area, very kind and very informative, always greeting guests with a smile!||Did not opt for breakfast, but one coffee (or more) and a piece of cake in the morning were on offer at no extra cost. Nice touch!||Free parking area, but limited inside the hotel ground to 5-6 places. There is also parking on the adjacent streets but luckily I did not have to use it.||The Wi-Fi was fast in my room. Run a couple of tests in the night and was surprised at the results (max download speeds were in excess of 40Mbps, but as one would expect less during 'peak' usage hours. I used the Wi-Fi in the night as I was out most of the day.||George let me also have a look at a family room on the top floor. Large room, balconies and good views.||At the time of my review the overall score was 8.3 after 200 or so reviews received. I personally think it is worth much more than that.||Overall, a great stay. I will certainly go back there...

Stayed here for seven nights , and honestly couldn’t say anything negative about this place . It was our first time in Greece so we weren’t sure what we were getting ourselves into but this hotel did not disappoint. ||The staff were excellent, very attentive and very friendly! Our room was beautiful, very modern and very clean . Comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom. Loved the open shower ! ||The area was good , the beach is on the opposite side of the hotel , Athens sea side .. Was difficult to find at first …but other than that it’s fine the beach is beautiful. |On the same side you have trams that can take you into the small towns or into Athens city . Didn’t have any complications .. was very straight forward . ||The town was like a 10 -15 min walk away .. which we didn’t mind , great shops and great coffee . ||We decided to go with the bed and breakfast package .. we also had a taxi pick us up from the airport (which the hotel booked )was fantastic. Breakfast was good , the tea and biscuits were delicious. ||Overall we really enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate on going back ! Perfect hotel. Modern clean rooms with smart tv and great cleaning staff. Been living in various rooms and even though close to the road, you DONT get bothered because of sound proof modern windows. Close to everything like Tram that takes you up to Kallithea, Pireaus. Close to the Airport and The Beach ! Best location if you are going to see Athens because you want to stay close to the ocean where you live, and then during days you can go up to the city. The shopping mecka in Glyfada where you can find everything Is on a walking distance. Superb service from the staff and they help you with everything. Ive tried various hotel all over Athens and this is the best considering location, price, SERVICE and how they treat their guests. The Area is great and has a much better and safer vibe than Athens.
