Worst experience ever at this beach restaurant due to the extremely arrogant and unprofessional behavior of the manager. My friends and I, a group of four well-dressed and polite girls, were allocated a low table in parallel with other customers and informed by the kind lady administrator that all sunbeds were reserved, but we could order anything we wished at a low table. Despite the place being 70% empty at 1 PM, we complied. We ordered soft drinks and water, but the glasses were dirty and the waiter kindly replaced them. However, half an hour later, the manager rudely approached us, demanding that we either leave or meet a minimum spend of €200, which we were not informed about initially. He arrogantly insisted on this despite our explanation and threatened us, stating that “we should pack our belongings now, take our friends from the sea, pay for the bill and leave immediately”. At that point, we didn’t cause a scene as our fiends were visitors. After another hour, the manager returned and aggressively demanded that we leave immediately, accusing us of occupying a table that could be used by higher-spending customers. Despite plenty of other free tables, nearby tables who ordered the same as us and no waiting customers, he continued to shout and show aggression. We tried to explain our situation and the inappropriate nature of his behavior, but he dismissed us rudely and we requested for the bill in order to pay and leave such disgusting premises. This experience was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The manager’s behavior was hostile and disrespectful, making it clear that customer service is not a priority here. Such management will undoubtedly lead to the restaurant's downfall, as no establishment can thrive with such poor treatment...
Read moreUpon arriving at Lemontree Beach in Voula, I was immediately struck by the beautiful furnishings and aesthetic of the beach concept. The setting was picturesque and inviting, with one notable exception - the towels provided, which seemed out of place and detracted from the overall ambiance.
The restaurant at Lemontree Beach exuded style and sophistication although it was disappointing to find out it didn't open till 5pm. Speaking of the menu, I found it to be lacking in variety and appeal. There was no Soya milk for the morning cappuccino. The finger foods on offer were overpriced and didn't quite hit the mark for me. I would have preferred the option to sit at a table rather than on my lounge chair, especially on windy days when a sand gets everywhere.
One particular disappointment was the lack of complimentary snacks with the cocktails, which were priced at a steep €17 each. When I inquired about this with the manager, I found his response to be patronizing and dismissive. It was disheartening that such a simple request was met with such indifference and lack of customer service. The manager's inability to provide a satisfactory explanation for this policy left me feeling unsatisfied as a customer. Although I couldn't fault the...
Read moreThe Lemon Tree Beach Club may look exclusive and stylish on social media, but the reality is quite different. The venue is essentially a repurposed, outdated public pool complex that now combines multiple “beach clubs” with family and kids’ activities in one space. The renovation feels superficial and low-budget, especially when compared to the carefully curated photos online.
You’re charged €17 (for two people) just to enter the premises – without any services included. Even if you realize within minutes that the place isn’t for you, there is no refund offered. This policy feels inflexible and customer-unfriendly.
Prices inside the club are disproportionate to the quality. Front-row sunbeds cost €140 and don’t even come with towels. Service is chaotic and inattentive. Moreover, the supposed exclusivity is completely undermined by the fact that there are public beaches on both sides, where people can freely lie down right in front of your expensive sunbeds – destroying any sense of privacy that the venue claims to offer.
Overall, the concept seems underdeveloped and heavily over-commercialized. If you’re looking for a genuinely relaxing and premium beach club experience, this is...
