We tried booking Dot Beach Vibes for a group of friends, and unfortunately the whole experience was really poor from start to finish.
Even though the place was already quiet and almost empty, the service was extremely slow and disorganized. We had told them months in advance that we’d be coming as a large group, yet they were completely unprepared when we arrived.
The manager initially told us they’d stay open until 9pm, but they started packing up and actually closed at 8pm, which cut our evening short. On top of that, they ran out of wine from the wine fridge after we ordered just one bottle, which is pretty surprising for a beach bar.
Throughout the evening, we had to repeat our orders multiple times because staff kept forgetting what we asked for — drinks, food, even basic things like water.
It honestly felt like they couldn’t care less about having our business. Despite being one of the few groups there, we were treated like an inconvenience rather than guests. We even asked for a waiter to look after our table more closely (given our group size), but no one really bothered.
As a Greek who visits Athens often, I can sadly say this place feels like a tourist trap — overpriced sunbeds, disinterested service, and a lack of appreciation for returning or local customers. I’m perfectly fine paying a premium for good service and atmosphere, but Dot Beach Vibes doesn’t deliver.
This was officially the last time we go there, and I strongly recommend you...
