We stayed at the Fotilia Hotel for 4 days in September 2025. The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location—just a short walk to the main area of town, yet tucked away on a quiet back street. It’s a great base for exploring Paros.||Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the arrival transfer. The hotel was supposed to send a driver to pick us up, but due to a communication issue, no one showed. This was a bit stressful, especially since the Paros ferry port is extremely busy in early September—crowded with people and constant ferry traffic. In fact, we found Paros overall to be quite crowded during this time of year.||Thankfully, our room was ready when we arrived early, which was a nice surprise. The woman at reception even helped carry our bags up to our room, which was on the third floor—important to note, as there is no elevator. The staff at Fotilia were very helpful and knowledgeable about the island, giving us great recommendations on what to see and do. ||We stayed in Room 18, which was on the small side and quite minimal. Storage was limited, with no space to hang longer garments (nothing longer than a shirt), so we ended up keeping some of our clothes in our suitcases on the floor. There were also no tissues in the room, so we had to use toilet paper as a substitute.||The bathroom was very compact—slightly smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. There was no counter space around the sink to place toiletries or makeup, and the shower had no door or curtain, so the bathroom floor got soaked after every use.||On the positive side, the bed was large and comfortable, and housekeeping came daily to keep everything clean. Our balcony was very small, just enough room for a small table and two chairs, but it did offer a beautiful sea view. The room had sheer black curtains, which looked stylish but did not block out any light—something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to early morning sun.||Breakfast was included and was very good. We also appreciated the filtered water station in the lobby, as they said that drinking the tap water in Paros isn’t recommended.||The pool area was lovely and the loungers were comfortable.||Overall, Fotilia is a conveniently located hotel with lovely staff, but the rooms—particularly the size, storage, and bathroom setup—may not be ideal for everyone. A good choice if location is your top priority and you're okay with some...
Read moreMy wife and I loved it! We would rebook here! Great location! Short walk to Naousa town. There’s parking along the street; first come first served. There is a rental car, quad, scooter shop just a short walk down the road.
Each room has a large balcony. Recommend asking for a sea view room. Receptionist said that room 18 has the best view.
The room has a king bed, two European outlets on each side of the bed. Also one USB A and USB C port on each side. There is one TV mounted on the wall, recommend brining a google or Roku tv device. There is another European outlet below the TV and another one just outside the bathroom. There is a desk that is good for any kind of work you may need, but there was no outlet near or under the desk. The rooms are clean!
Bathroom was small, but it works. The mirror above the sink opens for storage, the sink has enough flat surfaces to place your toiletries. There is a blow dryer available, see below in response.
There is a mini fridge, no microwave. A small hanger rod and five hangers to use. There are two cabinets up high for storage and two other shelf cubby shelves for storage.
The floor is marble, no carpet. Good for the weather there.
Breakfast is good, and has hard boil eggs, multiple types of pastries, fruits, Greek yogurt, bacon or sausage, good to get you started on your day. The orange and fruit juices are fresh squeezed, not from concentrate. There is also a coffee machine, water machine, and mini cooler to buy beer, wine, other soft drinks.
They have a little shelf for board games and small toys for kids.
There are tables outside by the pool, and the pool is nice and good if you want a break from the beaches. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off salt and sand if you need to rinse off or rinse your sandals.
They don’t have shuttles to the airport, they help book taxis.
They offer laundry service at a cost of $10 per bag. The bag is about 35 liter bag.
The receptionist and staff were...
Read moreI do not write many reviews, I am a consumer not a publisher, but when I go somewhere so “perfect” that I feel deserves the accolades then I am pleased to be able to share the positive experience. After 7plus weeks in 10 plus locations in Europe one stands out and that is Fotilia! On the perfect Greek island for us (mix of activities and quiet), we were lucky enough to have a week in a perfect oasis. Up on the crest of the hill near the church (so out of duff duff land with a beach down one side and the town just down stairs on the other side) with a tranquil pool and awesome staff we loved our week! Anna and Charlie gave great advice on where to go and what to do when asked - but never intruded. Breakfasts were a wonderful start to each day and other guests were fun. I felt more like we were staying with friends than in accommodation. Great island, great accommodation, great staff lead to a fantastic time. I highly recommend getting a taxi there first time so you find paradise the easy way, then walk and enjoy the lovely sights, lovely food, suggested local restaurants, Zeppos fishing experience, local beach, hire a buggy nearby to explore other side of island - anyway have your own wonderful experience just my tip is to stay here on Paros so you get to know some Greeks and the lovely parts of the island instead of...
