The food is great and the prices are fair. The appetizer sampler in particular was excellent. They give you a shot of their homemade liquor at the end which was such a nice touch. Lots of cute cats walking through and it's a beautiful patio.
However, we sat down at 8:30 and didn't leave until after 11pm. Over two and a half hours and so much of it was spent waiting! While it was fairly busy, the place wasn't packed and there were lots of waiters. We waited half an hour just for the starters. Not a huge issue, we ordered a baked feta dish and I understand that must take time. But then we waited another half hour at least for our mains and had to check with a waiter before they brought it. We then waited another twenty minutes before anyone cleared the dishes. We skipped dessert as we didn't want to wait another half hour. I have no idea why we specifically took so long when I saw so many other tables being served. We were literally one of the last tables there at the end of the night when we likely could have been in and out in an hour at most. The servers were very nice and friendly but my god I've never spent so long at a restaurant in my life.
Edit: We did not order the pork shank or see any dogs at...
Read moreIn search of a restaurant in the marina area after we had recently arrived in town. While having cocktails elsewhere, I saw they had some halloumi on the menu. Upon further consideration, there enough items to give this one a go. Wondered through the narrow streets of town and made our way to the restaurant. Nestled in between a few building they have a few outdoor patio seating. No view of the water just people walking by. They sat us on the side patio of only 2 table. We were quickly greeted and explained the dinner specials. Of course the cheese was the starter and we shared a salad. My wife enjoyed the black eye peas and Horta while I had the special a slow cooked beef and tomato dish with mashed potatoes. Our servers Martina, Christiana and George were very friendly and helpful. Our cocktails for the evening were a glass of red and an old fashioned that didn’t really seem like one but drinkable. We’d...
Read moreWe have just had dinner at this fabulous restaurant. The biggest note was the friendly and helpful staff, everyone we interacted with was smiling, happy to engage in chat and very knowledgeable about the drinks and food menus. The food…. Was the best we experienced in Paros. Fresh, full of flavour and extremely well priced. Forgot to take food pictures because it looked so delicious we started eating straight away! We had the linguine with shrimp (we would call them prawns in NZ) and the dish of the day, aubergine imam with feta cheese. Dessert was panna cotta with bourbon vanilla and caramel sauce. My wife who does not drink alcohol, was able to have any of the cocktails made without alcohol. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed amongst the beautiful trailing bougainvillea. The only downside was we only discovered this restaurant on our last night so not...
