Lilly Residence-All Sea View Suites | Adults Only — Hotel in Paros Municipality

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent hotel stay that I booked through your platform, Lilly Residence-All Sea View Suites. As a Genius member of Booking.com, I have always trusted your services for my travel needs, but this recent experience has left me feeling extremely dissatisfied.

Upon arriving at the hotel, it became immediately apparent that the property was not as described in the listing. The rooms were small, poorly maintained, and not cleaned properly. There were visible stains on the couches, and the pool was in a deplorable condition. The overall state of the hotel was far below the standards I expected when paying this amount(over a 1000$ for a night).

I was so disappointed with the hotel that I requested a refund upon arrival, as I wanted to check into another hotel to salvage my vacation. Unfortunately, the hotel refused my request, even though I only spent one night there and checked out promptly. Despite leaving the hotel, they refused to refund me or even offer a partial refund.

To make matters worse, the manager was extremely rude when I asked him to inspect the room. He dismissed my concerns, laughed at us, and told us that it was our problem. Adding to the frustration, the hotel manager even booked us a reservation at a restaurant without our consent, presumably to earn a commission, which made us uncomfortable from the start.

In the end, I had to book another hotel and incur additional costs just to enjoy my vacation, but I feel completely ripped off and mistreated by this experience.

I am reaching out to you with the hope that you can assist me in securing a refund for this unfortunate stay. I believe that, as a loyal Genius member, I deserve better treatment and a resolution to this issue.

I had the pleasure of staying at Lilly Residence during our stay in Paros. The hotel in itself is spectacular — clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and afternoon snacks, and perfect centralized location to both the beach and city center — but what really makes this place stand out is the service. Even compared to the level of service typically expected at luxury hotels, Lilly Residence exceeded expectations, particularly thanks to Mr. Chris. From the moment we arrived late in the afternoon, he had already booked dinner reservations for us without us even requesting. He assured us that, of course, we were not obligated to go and he could cancel at any time but he had booked it just incase. This was perfect as we already came in hungry and tired, so this extra level of attention to detail went a long way when we enjoyed a fantastic dinner on his recommendation. The following day, he paid extra attention to ask us about our day’s plans, offer suggestions and recommendations, etc. Having the support of a friendly and experienced local by our side really elevated our stay as we knew exactly where to go and what to do. We were eager to try local and authentic gyros, a Greek staple, and to this end, Mr. Chris delivered by suggesting a phenomenal place … the best I ever had. This restaurant was far from tourists and the city center, meaning there was no way we would have ever found it on our own. It was not mentioned anywhere on the Paros Tiktoks or websites that we had viewed. But with access to such phenomenal service, we were able to navigate Paros through the eyes of a local. Every night, we came home to Hermes toiletries, Valrhona luxury chocolates on our beds, and when checking out we were gifted 4 bottles of Greek extra virgin olive oil. Stop looking and just book this hotel. |Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful – even better than we expected. Christos is every bit as amazing as the reviews say. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was taken care of – booking us into fabulous restaurants and beach clubs, offering spot-on local advice. He really makes sure to find out what you like and want to do and then makes it happen. ||The location couldn’t be better: a short walk into town and just steps from a lovely beach. It’s peaceful and quiet at night, yet close to all the action – so there’s really no need for a car. However - we did rent a car from the airport (easy drive to the hotel) and are glad we did. Driving around Paros was lovely and glad we did not have to wait for taxis or buses. There is also a car rental place very near the hotel. ||Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The chef is truly talented, serving up delicious options that were beautifully presented.
