Wow! We stayed here for three nights, we were a party of 3 and my son and his girlfriend also stayed here, in a double room. Upon arrival, we were picked up at the port which was a free transfer arranged via email with the hotel team. Such a beautiful hotel, quiet and relaxing with peaceful surroundings with the most fantastic staff! They are just so welcoming, helpful, friendly and professional, not just on checkin and checkout, but also with providing recommendations for restaurants and places to visit with directions. Even before I arrived, I had to call the hotel (I wanted to book an extra night and the hotel was fully booked) and I was immediately impressed on how they answered, just so helpful and friendly. The town is about a 20 minute walk away or €10 by taxi. They arranged my sons quad and our car to hotel, they were always willing to assist, nothing was ever too much. The breakfast had a great variety of fresh choices and was really enjoyable with a great selection of hot food, fruit, pastries, cereals etc with the most attentive staff. We booked a triple room and we were given a lovely family room with four beds which was very extremely comfortable, spacious and clean with all the essentials, tv with Netflix and air conditioning, tea coffee facilities, it was on ground level opening out on to the beautifully kept pool area. The pool was very well kept and very clean, pool towels were also supplied and there was a small pool bar. Can watch the beautiful sunset from the pool area. From start to finish we enjoyed every minute spent here, such a beautiful hotel and the staff impressed us so much, who were all so friendly and attentive and always willing to assist. Special thanks to all the staff and especially amazing Sofia the manager, Vocilis and Ioannis, and all the other staff members - sorry I do not remember all the names. Would highly recommend this hotel and would most...
Read moreSmall scale hotel, but lovely staff and owners. It looks brand new and is well maintained. The location is quiet, but only 1,5 km from the harbour (well within walking distance, because parking you car there, at the beach/harbour, is a nightmare). The view from the rooms is nice and from the hotel/restaurant balcony is superb. We've sat there many times enjoying the sunset, overlooking the bay/harbour. The restaurant has a small menu of excellent quality and not too expensive. The rooms are good, beds are slightly harder than at home but I slept like a baby. The bathroom looks stunning, exceptionally clean and it's cleaned daily with the utmost care (wish I was that good at home). You'll be blown away by the shower, at full strength it's like a power washer but you can tone it down to acceptable levels. There's a little fridge too, it's not too shabby but what do you expect in a hotel? It's regular mini bar size, good for some big bottles of water and some beers (which happen too be rather big there). And I'll mention it again, the staff is awesome! The waiters go to lengths for you as do the owners (stuffing with drinks and food/fruit before you go out).
I'm going back here, this year even! I've seen a lot of place, a lot of good ones too. But this place is heart warming, which I've...
Read moreRooms clean but uninspiring decor. |Staff very friendly. Especially Ianionis who met us at the ferry.|Breakfast ‘ok’. Plenty of choice but standard of food not great. Especially the squash they called orange juice. |Comfortable sun beds around pool although no sun on most beds until after 10.30|Pool bar appalling. You help yourself to cans with no glass offered. The food is dreadful and overpriced. Their idea of a Greek salad is a cardboard ‘cake-tin’ with loads of tasteless tomatoes, a few pieces of red onion and cucumber, 2 olives and the smallest piece of feta ever attached to a salad. No oil or herbs and wooden cutlery. All for the grand price of €12! The worst and most expensive salad ever. And there were only 3 other items on the menu. This, if nothing else, forced us to hire a car we hadn’t budgeted for as we needed to get into town for lunch. It’s 20 minutes, downhill, to get to the edge of town so more like 30-40 minutes to get to a bar/cafe. If you don’t mind 80 minutes round trip to get anywhere, up and down hills in the middle of the day then fine. I did not. Can’t see why hotel can’t use their curtesy bus more to take residents back and for to town.| Not a 4 star hotel. Would...
