Absolutely the best breakfast experience we had on our visit to the Cyclades, and the local owners are wonderful people. Break free from the waterfront and walk a few minutes in to get a fully local, warm experience with creative, well- crafted food that is as Paros as it gets. (They serve food into the evening too). The ingredients are locally sourced from family farms, and they can in fact share the story of many of the producers. We shared the Standard Breakfast and the Salty pancakes with turkey/gouda/etc, and had a freddo espresso The sausage on the standard was well spiced, the egg savory and the homemade marmalade and cake among the best we tasted. I didn't know what to expect with savory pancackes coming from the US but they were fluffier than so many I've had, and the turkey and gouda flavor combination balanced delicately with hints of cinnamon. Don't be afraid to try it. The coffee that came with the standard was rich and balanced, and the freddo strong and refreshing. We lingered in the garden for a long while and felt completely welcome -- importantly it was suprisingly cool on a very hot August day when the winds were (rarely) not flowing. Absolutely grateful for the hospitality and hope that this...
Read moreAmazing. This describes the people, food, atmosphere, and my overall experience. Traveling to Paros, I stayed for 10 days and tried things from all over the island. For sure, this restaurant has the best coffee around. From a sugary delight to a savory stack, the menu has dishes that can scratch every itch. Do note that the menu caters towards the brunch crowd. If you are unsure of what to get or try on a certain day, don’t be shy to ask for a recommendation. I’ve done this 3 times which had great results. This family owned business is a must try experience of Parikia. Depending on how long you stay, you can even ask for a board game to coast out the hot sun. Also, you can order online through an app or call to place an order; but I would highly recommend the dining in experience. The batter is made fresh and the food does in-fact look like the pictures.
Note: when I visited, the business was cash only due to reasons out of the owners power. So, this is something time will heal. Don’t let this push you away though, for two people 35€ should cover both for the...
Read moreThe most beautiful little cafe! All seating is outdoors in a lovely garden courtyard, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. The food is delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. You can tell the ingredients are local, especially the milk - it’s the best I’ve had in Greece so far! The owners are wonderful people who genuinely care about their customers. When I ordered a coffee, they gave me a piece of cake without me asking for it, with no sneaky charges when I went to pay the bill, which is rare as I have come to learn. This really speaks to their integrity. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely return if I’m ever back...
