Akrogiali — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

Don’t go to this place !!. The owner is a very mean person and would do anything to charge its customers 2-3 euros more. I went to this place to have a breakfast on the 28th of June. I was very hungry . I definitely wanted to have an omelette. I asked the waitress whether the chef can prepare a half portion of Greek yoghurt with honey walnuts and fruits. She went to ask . When she came she said it is possible. So I ordered. When the bill came I’ve noticed that I was charged the full price of the item. I wanted to speak to the boss. But he was extremely impolite almost rude. He said that there is nothing called half portion. Of course I have to pay the full price. That he doesn’t want to discuss. That I have to pay and leave! I am a traveler. Right now I’m on a 23 days- trip around Greece. Never ever in my life I was treated like this. If someone told me such a thing will happen in Greece I wouldn’t believe. Greek people are so nice ( apparently with one exception). I have to add that I wanted to call the police, nobody around me helped. I felt very bad . I paid cash 26 euros. We had a very unusual experience at this restaurant. Shortly after we ordered our food, my dad had a sudden kidney issue. We're tourists from Argentina and don’t speak a word of Greek, but one of the waitresses — a blonde woman — was truly a lifesaver. She immediately called an ambulance and helped us through everything, all while continuing to take care of the other customers with amazing grace. She was simply incredible, and we’re deeply grateful to her.

If you’re reading this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. After the crisis passed, we ate the food she had packed for us at lightning speed — and it was absolutely delicious. ❤️❤️❤️

Literally amazing!!! Thank you Akrogiali for making my trip to Paros being the most beautiful and personal. The food is wonderful, I had the gyros and my partner the pork chop and the house wine and we were really pleased with the service and the quality of the food. And the staff is warm and friendly and always ready to help you with anything. I had so many requests on my food and they managed to help without complain. I am so grateful for people like that.
