Hotel Kipos — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

I've stayed for 6 nights in august 2018 with my two daughters, 5 and 11, and a friend with his daughter, 10. We've stayed in apartment number 6.||Needless to say that at the end of the vacantion when I asked my daughters what they liked best, the answer was as I expected "the swiming pool". I also enjoyed the time spent in the pool, which is perfect for both adults and children and is very clean.||I also liked the terrace that is at the top of the stairs and the lanscaping.||The hotel is in the center of the city and this was very usefull in the evening when we went walking. Also is at 10 minutes walk from the beach.||The air conditioners where in poor shape, one was not cooling at all but was fixed in the second day.||There is only one closet upstairs and is not suitable for 4-5 persons. The space in the closet could be reorganized.||There was a problem with the water pressure. The second day the hot water stopped in the middle of me showering, and then the cold water too. I've waited a few minutes and barely succeded to rinse. I've repoted this to the owner and he said there is a problem in the city. Me and my friend discovered that the pool was filled at that time both with hot and cold water, we've stopped the taps and the pressure increased.||The is free internet but connecting to the wireless network is a...

I booked this hotel throughthe internet and what a wonderful experience this has been! The hotel is in the heart of the city, we arrived wia ferry boat from Keramoti, and within 5 minutes of disembarking we were at our hotel. While in the heart of the city, this hotel is secluded, away form the noise of the city, with trees and a nice pool!!! All we had to do was dress and stroll in the city market that was filled with little stores. ||The staff at Kipos Hotel were wery well versed in English and went out of their way to accommodate all of our requests. Our suite was clean, tidy and spacious for our 5 members family. ||Nice little place, well positioned in the city. Very basic hotel but with very friendly and helpful staff. Also seems popular for families with children. It is peaceful and quiet, no drinking and no late-night parties. Two barbecue-grills free to use, and meat can be bought in the butchers shop nearby. The pool is in very good order and very clean and well-kept. Friendly cats are included. Cleaning of the room is fine and done daily. Location is perfect, just outside the restaurant and shopping district. 5 min walk down to the port and 10 min to the nearest beach.

The room is very basic with old furniture and odd bit and pieces for the kitchen. Beds and mattresses are also old and works but nothing more. But everything is clean and not dirty.
