We had the absolute worst experience. We arrived, they gave us a table straight away. After ordering, the drinks were brought but we had to wait more than ten minutes until they brought us the remaining two glasses of wine. For appetisers (tzatziki and tarama with pita) we had to wait more than 30 minutes. After that we were completely ignored, even though food kept coming at nearby tables that arrived after us. When asking how long we have to wait for our mains the waiter told us they had a rush of 30 people or so and it should be ready in 10-15 minutes. At this point an hour passed since we ordered and we were fed up because a nearby table had their food out only a short time after ordering. From the food that was brought I can say that it was probably from Lidl, very disappointed. It ruined our night, and they didn’t even care that we left unhappy. We would definitely not recommend, avoid at all costs. Simi restaurant is very nearby and the service and food there was amazing. (We were there the night before)
UPDATE: Not exactly sure how accurate google translate is but Mr. Ambrosia, I can say your customer service is very poor and your reply only showed us how much respect you have for your foreign customers. And cut the crap about being very busy and order priority, you probably forgot or lost our order and were too proud to come clean about it. And if it took 30 minutes to come with a “homemade” tzatziki, a fishroe salad and some stale pita, perhaps you should consider applying for a...
Read moreWe came here in the summer of 2025, and I’m really disappointed with this tavern that advertises itself as serving Greek food. First of all, the dishes arrived one by one, with long delays in between. The calamari legs were dry and as hard as wooden sticks, the grilled octopus was rubbery and tough, the salad was oddly sandy from the mushrooms in it, and the leaves were not fresh and crisp but rather wilted and limp. The bougourdi was nothing more than a heap of cheese, carelessly prepared with far too much of a very thin, watery sauce – definitely not recommended. The sardines were okay, and so were the fries – I didn’t eat them, but my son did. However, the ketchup he asked for never arrived; after repeatedly asking, I eventually had to go into the kitchen myself to get it. My conclusion: This is not good Greek food. To be fair, I haven’t eaten well anywhere else on Thassos either – but just across the water in Kavala, it’s heavenly! That said, I can’t help but suspect that many of the glowing reviews for this place may not be...
Read moreUpdate(answer to the reply from the restaurant): I had the seafood mix which if I remember well was called the fisherman's plate in your menu and my girlfriend had a sea bream. It's our experience and you should check your products better. Claiming that I wrote this review just for defamation is absurd, I have the receipt proving that we ate there. Maybe you are racist given the fact that you put your answer in greek, you should be ashamed for making this kind of claims. I think the answer was writtennin greek on purpose so that the tourists wouldn't understand. You didn't have any problem speaking in english when we visited you and you offered to pull the bones from the sea bream.
Worst experience ever, after eating here our stomach got bad cramps (needing to use a toilet every 30 minutes) and next day we woke up with big headaches. I think something was bad with the food and we got...
