GEFSTIKO sea food! — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

This is probably the worst experience that we had with a restaurant. The waitress didn't tell us how the fish is being priced, instead she asked us right away if we want our fish to be 600 or 800 grams (which is not standard for the price). The price that is written next to the fish is for 300 grams, but nobody told us that. We took 600 grams as she asked us, so instead of one price in the menu, we paid TWICE as much. Awful way to scam the tourists.

P. S. Replying to the owner, because he/she chose to be rude instead of keeping quiet or at least saying sorry for trying to scam people. Maybe the worst seafood in Greece. Most of the seafood is frozen and it is served partially fried and the inner is raw / uncooked. Due to this, all of us felt sick during next night, went to hospital and so on. The attitude of the owner was quite hostile in general. Dear host, if you read this, please change your attitude first of all. We are not your friends to treat us like that. We are your customers, and you should treat us accordingly. Your only luck is that you are on the main road and you can afford to trick people with your low-quality standards. In my country you are unable to find fresh sea food, we can find it only frozen. Tbh, we’ve had better and at half the price, but on mainland - bill was for 120+ for 5 people (mainland 70 for the same). Greek restaurants (according to locals) can either do good fish or good meat - this one dod good meat. Thel lamb choo was excellent. The grilled red seabream was okay, but it could have been anything. The chicken snitzel was a huge portio and my son loved it, but waiter could not find to recommend it when we asked for breaded chickenz Greek salad was national standard.
