Nice 2 MEAT you — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

Με βάση τις πολλές θετικές κριτικές, σήμερα πήγα με την οικογένειά μου σε αυτό το εστιατόριο με μεγάλες προσδοκίες. Όμως, μόλις καθίσαμε σε ένα τραπέζι έξω, ήρθε μια υπάλληλος και μας είπε με αγενή τόνο να μπούμε μέσα – επειδή είναι self-service. Έμεινα τόσο έκπληκτος που απλώς την κοίταξα. Αντί να εξηγήσει φιλικά, συνέχισε με έναν υποτιμητικό τόνο, σαν να μην είχα καταλάβει – σχεδόν σαν να έπρεπε να το «ξεκαθαρίσει» σε έναν αργόστροφο πελάτη. Στην πραγματικότητα, απλώς είχα σοκαριστεί. Τέτοια συμπεριφορά δεν έχω ξαναδεί – ειδικά σε μια χώρα που φημίζεται για τη φιλοξενία της. Φυσικά φύγαμε αμέσως. Να φάμε μετά από τέτοιο καλωσόρισμα; Αδιανόητο. 0 αστέρια θα ήταν δίκαιο, αλλά αφού δεν γίνεται, βάζω 1!

Considering the many positive reviews, I visited this restaurant today with my family with high expectations. But as soon as we sat down at a table outside, a staff member approached us and, in an unfriendly tone, told us to go inside – as it was supposedly self-service. I was so shocked that I just looked at her. Instead of clarifying the situation in a friendly manner, she spoke again with a condescending tone, as if I hadn’t understood – almost as if she had to “spell it out” for a slow guest. In reality, I was simply stunned. I have never experienced anything like this – especially in a country known for its hospitality. Naturally, we immediately stood up and left. Eating there after such a welcome? Unthinkable. Zero stars would be deserved, but since that’s not possible, I’m giving 1!

Angesichts der vielen positiven Rezensionen hatte ich heute große Erwartungen, als ich mit meiner Familie dieses Restaurant besuchte. Doch kaum hatten wir uns draußen an einen Tisch gesetzt, kam eine Mitarbeiterin und sagte in einem unfreundlichen Ton, wir mögen doch bitte reingehen – es sei schließlich Self-Service. Ich war so überrascht, dass ich sie nur ansah. Statt die Situation freundlich zu klären, legte sie noch einen Tonfall drauf, als hätte ich es nicht verstanden – herablassend, fast so, als müsse sie es einem begriffsstutzigen Gast noch einmal „verdeutlichen“. Dabei war ich einfach nur geschockt. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt – und das in einem Land, das für seine Gastfreundschaft bekannt ist. Natürlich sind wir sofort aufgestanden und gegangen. Unter solch einem Empfang zu essen? Unvorstellbar. 0 Sterne wären angebracht, aber da nur 1 möglich ist,...

Ate here last night with my boyfriend and we were quite impressed . We ordered the Club Gyros and Kebab. Food was good, the meat was tasty. The portions are really really big, so i suggest that if you chose the Club Gyros dish better share it with somebody. Even the Kebab which costs 3.5 euros (if you want it with cheese - which I highly recommend) or 3 euros (the classic one) is big and will get your hunger settled for the day 😂

Good food. But the staff, rude. Ordered pork souvlaki and traditional gyros. The wife remain at the table outside, I went back inside to order 2 beers. Waited in line and when it was my turn, a lady with her man behind me, were invited to order and pay before me because "ladies first'. Was my wife supposed to come with me to wait in line so the cashier should have been more polite? The food is good but the experience...
