Cafe Blionis — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

The waiter didn't understand a single word English (couldn't even tell which marmelades they do offer with their crepes and had to get the chef to tell us which can be ordered). Unfortunately he didn't even understand that we ordered two large cappuccinos and brought us small ones instead. After complaining this to the chef, he consents to bring us new ones, what took about 5 minutes. In the end these cappuccinos were cold and it was obvious, that the small cappuccino was just poured into the large cup and some cold milk was added. For 3,50 € very unpleasant. We didn't complain again, but wanted to pay quite fast. Because of this, the chef was very unfriendly and just said in a impolite manner: "I have no time now". First time when i receive this awful experience in a restaurant, i lost 50 min of my time trying to get an omelet!!! We went for breakfast there, arriving at 10:10, first we were asked what we would like without receiving the menu. After 20 min someone returned to take the order.We waited 30 minutes to get 2 omelettes, since we had to leave i went inside to ask them to take away the food and pay. They were irritated and told me that they cannot hurry (I didn’t asked that anyway). The staff started to completely ignore me, questioning themselves and answering the phone, so I decided to leave without the food. The restaurant was almost empty...

At first we waited for the waiter for 15 minutes just to take our order. We were told that we can’t order anything from the menu (waffles, crepes, omelets) because there’re too many people even though many tables were empty. We ordered coffee and some premade desserts and it took them 30 minutes to bring it to our table. Funny thing - they brought the wrong things and we had to wait for another 15 minutes for our order. The food is actually good but it’s not worth the wait. Can definitely recommend if you have nothing better to do...
