I want to share an honest review of my experience at this hotel as the previous reviews gave a false representation of what this hotel was actually like. We stayed as a family of three from the 5th September until 12th September, check in was very strange we had to fill in a card with our details including bank card details, which I was very reluctant to share. |Food is a major problem here, there is no fresh fruit at any time of the day, everything was tinned and lacking in variety. Occasionally, there were grapes but these were very poor quality and sour, I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the fresh produce is so few and far between. I ended up getting fruit from the local supermarket for breakfast, but if you can eat greasy bacon and eggs every morning then this is the perfect place for you. Drinks in the restaurant are atrocious and the staff are extremely rude shouting ‘what’ at guests every time someone asked a question. We only ate here 2 nights out of the 7 as the food choice was severely lacking, the ‘gyros’ was just chunks of pork fat, there was no meat at all just white lumps of fat and let’s not forget about the mouldy butter on offer to guests. There is 1 potato dish (not chips, it’s usually some undercooked wedges in some sort of sauce), 1 rice dish and a couple of vegetable dishes at all meal times. The snack bar did cook food to order so it was always hot, however the ‘beef’ burgers definitely aren’t beef, I would say they are mystery meat and sometimes the orders were wrong so it isn’t the best system. Drinks from the snack bar were pleasant and as mentioned in other reviews they are from bottles, however I will disagree with some other reviews saying the drinks are flat, as they go through bottles too quickly for them to get flat. |Another problem was the closed spa, the spa is advertised on the guest notice board however, when I enquired about this I was told there is no staff to run it and if we wanted to visit a spa we had to go elsewhere. I booked this hotel specifically as it advertised a spa, I was extremely disappointed but I’m glad the €300 I took for the spa wasn’t used for that purpose, as I had to use this for the 5 nights to eat out of the hotel. |Noise is also a massive issue at night, the hotel has zero music during the day, it’s silent however, 6pm rolls around and the bar in reception is blasting music until 12am. Our room was above the bar and sleep didn’t come easily when the music was so loud, it would be helpful if staff was mindful about the rooms above and turned it down slightly. |The pool area is nice, it would be better to have some more sun beds on tiles instead of on the grass. There is also a possible safety issue with the ‘aesthetic’ of the pool area, a guest tripped and fell over the shallow pool near the jacuzzi, everything is the same colour so it’s hard to see the step that sticks out slightly. Lifeguard was nowhere to be found during this time, but she was usually always watching out for guests in the pool area.|I have given this hotel a 3 out of 5 due to the location and cleanliness, these are the main saving grace of this hotel. Cleanliness is superb, I take my hat off to the cleaners of this hotel, the floors are spotless and even the balconies are swept daily. |Location is wonderful, watching the planes come in and out is great and everything is so close to the hotel. The beach is close by and definitely worth a visit and of course pay a visit to the shops and restaurants nearby.|I would consider returning to the hotel due to the amazing location but I would take plenty of money to buy food...
Read moreBOOK THIS HOTEL, YOU WONT REGRET IT! Honestly this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff go over and above, they were all amazing & massively friendly. I can’t wait to go back.
The hotel’s Al a carte restaurant was fantastic, really fancy & special would recommend you book once whilst there however, if you don’t want to the buffet restaurant has everything you may want & all of it is delicious - they have themed buffet restaurant nights Greek, Japanese. Fresh omelette and pancakes/crepes in the morning, mixed lunch and the desserts are to die for!
They had 2 nights of entertainment over the week we stayed, live music which were great, the evening vibe is relaxed and chill with some music playing & everyone playing games or cards. Really lovely.
The pool bar is open 1030-1730 and has so many snacks (cheeseburger & fries were a winner as was the Greek & Caesar salad) I recommend trying an Iced coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce!
We celebrated a 21st birthday there & the room was decorated by staff & Freja from TUI, really thoughtful & special (just have a chat with reception if you’re celebrating a special occasion)
Ps. Manners go a long way I recommend learning a Greek word or two & tipping before you leave - efcharistó (eff-fari-stow) means Thank you.
We booked the special Swim up room (no.506) amazing location & size (for 1ad 2ch) the little pool overlooks main lounge area & bigger pools, easy access to everything.
Annie’s store on the way to beach is brilliant, the owners are honest, really helpful & it’s not expensive. (Snorkelling at the beach is a must) you can pay approx €20-€25 for a sun lounger area for the day & hire little boats.
Lots of Supermarkets up the road on the main ‘strip’ plenty of bars & restaurants close by too.
Freja - TUI rep - so lovely & helpful. We booked the water park & 1/2 boat trip to see turtles (which we did & it was amazing!) recommend both trips. (Approx €35 per adult)
Our party included ages between 11,15,19,20,21,22,41 - it was perfect for us. For smaller kids the pools are not too deep, there’s a playground, tennis court and local fun play house area up the strip. I think this hotel would suit any age if you’re looking for more of a relaxed hotel & not Butlins type break.
IMPORTANT; you can’t drink the water, they have some on tap in the restaurants but we bought bottles from the supermarket to store in the room fridge.
You cannot flush toilet paper I recommend bringing wet wipes if you don’t like using the water pipe on the loo.
Bring mozzie repellents, in the evenings if you venture out or sit outside it’s likely you’ll get bitten!
Our stay was August 5th-12th We went through bottles of Suncream on the daily, it was a heatwave hitting around 38° to save money id recommend taking quite a few with you 🙂 Have a wonderful time if you go! I...

Got a private minibus transfer as only 10 minutes from the airport.|Hotel - great location - 10 minutes slow stroll to the beach, on the flat, and 5 minutes from 'the strip' and supermarkets. We ended up with two rooms facing the pool and two facing the road, which was a shame, as it would have been nice to all sit out on our balconies together in the evening. The pool facing rooms are significantly bigger than the road facing ones - but the road facing ones do not have the sink in the room - but do get a lot of noise from the surrounding bars. |Fresh towels and bed linen daily. Rooms also have big containers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom, along with hairdryer, fridge, tea & coffee making facility and safe with key. Balconies are good size with comfortable wooden furniture.|The rooms are spotlessly clean and any issues were sorted promptly. Would have been better if the room tea & coffee supplies had been refilled daily - but it didn't spoil the holiday.|The beds around the pool fill up before 9 with towels - but we always got beds together, so not a problem for us.|Two lifts available to use - one to the right of Reception and one along the walkway at the end of the initial corridor from Reception.|Pools - 2, both quite shallow - nothing deeper than around 1.5m. Both were quite cool and unfortunately, the steps into them were quite big, so my Mum struggled to get in and out with two artificial knees and so only used each pool once in 14 days - perhaps a half step could be added to each one, to help people with mobility issues?|Signs say no children allowed in the jacuzzi, but we saw one in a mask diving down in the water and someone taking a baby in - when the baby pool was steps away, so only used the jacuzzi a couple of times during our stay.|Food - ok - wide variety, well cooked - some of the meat was quite fatty though - didn't bother me, but wasn't good for my husband and daughter, who are more fussy.|Deserts were lovely as was the ice cream. Possibly add piped Greek music to add atmosphere too?|Snack bar - lovely food, huge portions and great service.|Bar - great service -but no atmosphere inside in the evenings. Would have preferred the pool bar to be open so that we could sit outside, as the upstairs terrace filled up really quickly.|Entertainment a couple of nights with a singer and musicians - adequate for a relaxed hotel. |Nothing really for children.|Don't go here and expect Bingo and quizzes and pool activities - this place is perfect for pure relaxation. A lovely hotel, and with a few tweaks, it could be superb. Thank you for a lovely stay - especially Fay, Sergio & Stella and the...
