Update 2025 Not much has changed, and as you can read below, this an excellent restaurant. No turtles in the fountain this year though. End Update. This has to be one of the high point dinner wise in Kalamaki. Staff is welcoming and excellent, food is, not to put to fine a point on it, bloody awesome. The atmosphere is very inviting and they have a fountain with real turtles that can be seen from the street when you walk by the place. Dinner for two, including starter, a big serving of the house wine (one litre red that proved excellent) cost less than €45. All in all, this is really awesome...

Only called in because this place was closest to our hotel, but boy, am I glad we did! Service was attentive but not overbearing, with all the staff being really friendly. And the food - well, was superb. We chose some bread and dips, aubergine with feta, and local speciality of spiced cheese in oil as some starters to share, then I had chicken kebab with the wife opting for beef stifado. For starters we shared two plates of tzatziki and a Greek salad which was enough for 6 adults. I got the honey glazed salmon, with ginger mayo and grilled vegetables (there were quite a few fish bones in my salmon, otherwise everything tasted nice and was cooked to perfection) we ordered a portion of fries to split between the three people that ordered salmon (but in my opinion there where more than enough, vegetables and salmon to fill...
