Short message for Lithuania people: Šis viešbutis – geriausia, ką galite rasti Zakinto saloje!
We are young couple, who likes quality. We always want to get the best service and feel only good vibes during our vacation. This hotel gave it to us. Firstly, simple information about hotel. Environment here is nice and spacious. Everywhere is clean and looking good. Outside you can see beautiful trees, bushes and flowers. The pool is medium large, clean, nice to swim, many places to sit or enjoy sunbathing. The bar is outside. If you are "all inclusive", you can get whenever cocktail you want (pina collada, sex on the beach, blue lagoon and many others), tasty local beer, white or red vine etc. Restaurant is outside with glass walls, which most often is open and nice roof, which can be open too. The food very, very good. Always fresh, many variations, many deserts. You will always find diferent variations of meat, vegetables, there is always some fish. Some times you can see freshly made hamburgers. I love the food there, never wanted to eat in the other restaurants. We was seven nights there, so we had 2 greek nighs (with greek food, music, dance) and 3 show kitchen (after you eat dinner, the shef will come to you and make you desert in front of your eyes). And all the food is very, very tasty. After lunch you can get snacks for special snacks meniu. You can choose for many options, for example, pica, sandwich, greek salad, fruit salad, desert of the day, fruit salad, greek yougurt with fruits and many others. They have some water stations, where you can pour in drinkable water any time you like. The rooms are clean, medium size. You have free wi-fi, free safe, bath with shower, balcony, TV, many drawers. There was small not very good things, like long curtains at bath and you always standing on them while showering or the doors lock was a little bit broken, but after telling what the next day everything was fixed! That is about hotel.
Now about the people, who are working there. You look in the eyes and you see, what they are very good people with a big hearts. All of them want to make your vacation better. They will see, if you are sad and they will ask you what happened. They will see which food you like and the will bring you more. They honestly care about you. I want to thank barmen Ioakim who is the best barmen I ever saw. He became our friends, we will never forget you. The manager Alexander was the first person, who wanted to be with us, make conversations and spend the evening after work together, thank you to becoming our friend. And I want to thank owner of that hotel Carolina. She listening us, personally make sure that we are happy and have many stories to tell.
If you want to feel like home with your family and friends - you should...
Read moreThe hotel is definitely not for those seeking a peaceful and quiet holiday, but more for those who prioritize party atmosphere and being close to bars and clubs. It's a typical "Greek 4-star" hotel, which in practice means it's a 3-star hotel, mainly catering to Polish tourists, which for some will be an advantage and for others a disadvantage.||The standard of the rooms is very uneven - in the first room we got, the air conditioning leaked all night, and there was no hot water for the first two days. In the second room, everything seemed newer and the appliances fortunately worked properly. Additionally, be prepared for noise: rooms facing the pool will be loud from 11 AM to midnight, and those facing the street from midnight to 6 AM. It’s best to request a room facing the car park when making a reservation.||The food is just okay; breakfasts are the worst, but lunches and dinners were really great, showing that the kitchen uses good quality ingredients. :)||The "beach" is a disaster... We chose this hotel partly for its proximity to the beach - and indeed, it’s close to the shoreline (a 2-minute walk), but that narrow strip of dirty stones right by the street simply cannot be called a beach... It’s worth taking about a 10-minute walk to the left to find a quieter, sandy, pleasant spot for beachgoing.||On the plus side, the hotel’s entertainment (mainly in Polish) was diverse, fun, and there was really something for everyone during the day 🙂 On Saturdays, there’s a fantastic Greek evening with delicious food and a great atmosphere, we really enjoyed ourselves!||Our overall rating is rather average, on a scale of 1-10, I’d give this hotel a maximum of 5 - mainly for Ms. Tatiana, who tried to be as helpful as she could, the very nice Bartender, and the Polish animators who made our days more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the other aspects were much worse. So far, this has been the worst hotel we have vacationed at with my husband, and we definitely wouldn’t...
Read moreHardly can I find words to express how happy we were to spend 7 days this summer in the Ionis Art Hotel, in Laganas, Zakynthos – a fantastic place to visit!|Everything is perfect there - the location of the hotel, which is, in fact, just 15 minutes from Zakynthos and 5 minutes to the beach (so you don’t really get tired waiting to see the beauty of the Ionic Sea)).|When we got there, we immediately felt at home because of the most welcoming, responsive and hospitable staff, ready to give a hand in EVERY situation possible (really appreciate that!!) and make our stay enjoyable with the entertainments of all sorts.|Another thing that immediately caught the eye was the cosiness of the hotel and its exquisite, artistic décor. You can feel it not only in the lobby, but in rooms too. Our room overlooked the pool, it was wonderful - spacious and very comfortable and, seemed to have a character of its own with super comfy beds, side tables, mirrors and pictures on the walls. Needless to mention all the necessary conveniences that it had. Every day the maids ensured its immaculate cleanliness. |The hotel restaurant and the cuisine exceeded all our expectations! I would like to say special thanks to the chef of the hotel restaurant Michalis, the sous chef Mario and the whole restaurant team (the waiters were very polite and helpful) for the delicious, fresh and varied food we enjoyed every day! The masterclass of making the Greek food that the chef offered to the guest and the Greek dinner were amazing! (now I know how to make a real Greek salad)) Thank you!!!|To cut a long story short, I can truly say that the Ionis Art Hotel was the best stay ever. When we have another chance to visit this wonderful island, there’ll be no other choice to make but...
