Cool Peppers — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

My partner and I went out for dinner on Wednesday night and the food was amazing! We had steak cooked perfectly and the mushrooms risotto! We also had cocktails and they were beautiful. We enjoyed it so much we went back last night. The food was total rubbish! Our starters were cheese sticks that were all old oily batter and calamari that we fed to the cats next to our table. I ordered the pasta and it was uneatable, I left it to the side! My partner ordered the full rack of ribs. They were tougher than leather. Be asked for the bill and asked the waiter to put the ribs in a plastic bag for the cats at home. The cats enjoyed the ribs. A pretty cool upscale restaurant with lounge music and a very nice view. They have a variety of cocktails, desserts and dishes. It was the first place where we had our check printed in English. The staff was friendly, polite and compliant. We had a starter that they said it's for 3 people (bit of all) that was very tasty and I enjoyed it alot. The only problem with it was that since people order this as a dish for one they brought it at the same time as the other dishes so be sure to specify when you want it. We also had some spaghetti that were ok and the Texas burger that tasted a bit bland. My friend and I went out for dinner and chose this restaurant, a big mistake. We’ve waited about 45 min for the food to arrive, however, we understood it is busy and didn’t made a big fuss about it. While waiting for the food we decided to order a shisha which it never happened due to the poor customer service of the waiter which didn’t bother to take our order after giving us the menu. The biggest issue was with my friend’s main dish, the plate came with a hair deep inside the food and with a unacceptable explanation from the waiter “the kitchen has only male chefs and that is not possible”.
