I first stayed at Quinta in 2007. On three or four subsequent visits to Antigua, I tried to get a room and it was always fully booked. This year, I tried for May, got shut out again, and switched to June so that I could stay here. So, you can see that I am quite fond of this place.||After 18 years, all the good things are still in place: the beautiful gardens, the serene pool, the breakfasts, the peaceful ambience. And there are improvements. There are now "garden rooms" that are away from the main area of the hotel. They are large with king beds and well worth the $115 per night. Internet service reaches these rooms, but I did find myself occasionally using my phone as a hot spot to get better service.||Because the grounds are so spread out, you will at times feel like you have the place to yourself. Sit back and listen to the birds. If you'd like a treat, pick up the phone and they'll bring you tostadas and a drink.||Do be aware that Quinta is on the southeast end of town, about a 15 minute walk to the park. In 2007, my family always covered that by foot. This year, with Uber working efficiently within Antigua, we replaced about 25% of our walks with Uber rides. Each ride arrived in less...

Our family spent three lovely nights in a casita here (#2) at the end of November. The grounds are truly exceptional: amazing gardens, landscaping and fountains; beautiful pool (and even a little play area!); and lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the incredible volcano views and sunsets. We loved our room and having two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a small kitchen, and we enjoyed our breakfast as well (especially by the little fire on a chilly morning). This is not meant to be a full-service resort -- they will help with taxis and airport transfers, but don't expect an on-site spa or room service. But it's a quiet, beautiful complex that we would highly recommend as a home base for anyone looking to spend a few days exploring in and...

Stayed in one of the casitas with a great view of a volcano. Very spacious and open with room that had small porch to take in the spectacular views of the hotel property and grounds. Beautiful hotel and garden is stunning and the variety of birds in the morning you can hear. Pool looked very inviting! The fountains take you back hundreds of years. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner here and always with a lit fireplace for the cool mornings and evenings. The restaurant staff were very pleasant and attentive and made us feel welcomed. Easy walk to close by restaurants and Central Park and several churches and convents. We would definitely stay here here...

This is my 5th time doing a surgical mission trip in Antigua and this is my 4th hotel. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at to date. Its at the edge of Antigua so it takes a little longer to get to some places but its well worth it. I stayed in the garden room and I LOVED it. its a large room with a patio outlooking their beautiful garden. You can sit outside with a good book and jist take in the sights and sounds. Its very quiet and peaceful. They also have a restaurant on site that has a variety of food. I hope we get to come back here next year!

We will definitely recommend and if we visit Antiqua again, would stay here. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the property and rooms are clean and the service all around is wonderful. Pablo who runs the bar and restaurant is so helpful and the ladies who run breakfast are so pleasant! We have a 4 year old son and he loved the kids park, pool and running through the grass. Only downside is there are no screens on windows so mosquitoes often are in your room. Great job to Management and team!

A fantastic place to stay. You can fit up to 5 people in a casita very comfortably. They are like a little townhouse! The habitas and other rooms fit 1-3. The garden is amazing and the fountains are lovely. The pool is a great place to hang out at or in. There is a few hammocks here and a playground. There are showers here and the people are lovely. The restaurant is a little pricey but delicious. The desk will do laundry for you at a price but it is far cheaper to get it done down the street.
