Beautiful gardens and grounds; historic exhibits; great food in the dining hall. Just don't spend the night there if you have any sensitivity to mold or mildew. The rooms are old; and, have not been updated in this century (and likely not the last as well.). AND the accommodations are equipped with "suicide showers", i.e. those where connection to the heater runs past the water flow. It is possible to make these units safe; however, when we arrived, the wires were just twisted together, without even electrical tape, let alone wirenuts or the plastic wire covers you can heat with a hair dryer to mold them over the connection. One friend, in another room was severely shocked, although, fortunately not...
