Greengary Budapest apartments — Hotel in Budapest

Booked this place due to the price and location. It is walking distance from the main attractions and close to a metro station. Right next door is an amazing bistro (Ket szerecsen) with delicious fare and wine. Read some reviews about it being in a rundown building and don't understand why that matters - the inside was safe and comfortable and seemed recently renovated. The owners seem to have taken all previous complaints into consideration (smelly fridge, drains in the bathroom, lack of dishtowel) and provided cutlery, dish towels, extra towels, freshly laundered linen and a clean fridge. I was able to make myself some hot porridge, and store stuff in the fridge. The only real issue I faced (apart from a half undone curtain that made the room bright too early :) ) was the lack of a WiFi connection. Sure, there are instructions on setting up WiFi but there was no connection whatsoever. If they can fix this, the rooms would be more awesome. I also recommend the owners to consider stocking shower gel in the bathroom. Still, I had a wonderful stay - the room was well-ventilated, check in/out was hassle free and the owner was easy to reach ( the tap water is potable btw)....

Apartments in very good location for touristic visit. You are in walking distance to main sightseeing places. Metro station, clubs zone, restaurants are in 200 m range. 500 m from stop of 100E airport-bus. Apartment are clean, and spacious - maybe kitchen could be equipped a bit better. If you plan to cook by yourself choose simple recipes ;) Worth to visit.

Great Location all is self service including check-in! The building itself is a bit scary, they should consider refurbishing it.
