Margaréta Vendégház — Hotel in Egri járás

My wife surprised me with a stay here for my Birthday and it was an absolutely stellar experience. We have 3 dogs and love to travel with them. Not only was Margareta super Dog friendly, but upon our arrival our 3 little sweethearts were showered with affection by the lovely Team, which is a family run business and you could feel the pride they take in running a great business right from the moment you arrive.||Not only was everyone super friendly and knowledgeable about everything there is to do in Eger or anything we might need but they really made you feel like you are part of the family.||The design of the panzio was immaculate with fine attention to details in the rooms, the common spaces, beautiful garden and luxurious private spa, and super clean. Just perfect.||Breakfast was absolutely delicious as well with tasty variety for everyone. It also turned out that i shared the same Birthday with the owner and we all toasted with my wife and the team for a memorable champagne breakfast.||We will be back without a doubt and highly recommended for couples and those who have furry family members it was an absolute stellar stay for them too! ||Oh Yes! This is the perfect place to stay during a visit to Eger! My wife and a friend booked two rooms here on a visit to to see Eger's historic castle and the surrounding wine country. The hotel is centrally located--about a 5-10 minute walk to the main square.||The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, had strong, quiet air conditioning, and comfortable beds. Our rooms also had very large tubs for a relaxing bath and showers. There were nice amenities, coffee machines in the room and in the lobby. The hotel was quiet (no loud noises at night). The hotel also had a lovely interior courtyard/garden that was a great place to relax or have breakfast. My wife and her friend both booked massages through the hotel and loved the massages.||The hospitality, however, really put the stay over the top. The hostess was super friendly when we checked in, gave us some great recommendations about things to do around Eger, let us check in early because our room was open (and check out late). And, really going above and beyond, her husband gave us a ride to the train station because all the cabs were booked!||I would stay here again when visiting Eger and recommend it to...

Arrived on a hot day after a long journey - what a lovely, restful place to visit.|The place was right on the edge of Eger Old Town, a mere 5 minutes walk away, the room was clean and well fitted. Check in was easily done. It was easy to park up and enjoy our stay.
